Yes find the "hexxit gear" in the mods folder and see if there is a copy of that mod. Then delete 1 of them

There might be an item I'd error in with another mod. You'll have to either use idresolver mod (google it) or manually find the I'd in the config files

The best mods to add are gravitation suite: it's an addon for industrialcraft. It adds better quantum armour with creative flying and better drills, better lap packs, just upgraded op items from ic2 to make them even more op. even some small mods change a lot. Such as adding in something like soul shards. An one more: Forestry, it's a great mod for automating farming and new power sources and tree and bee breeding! I hope you take these mods into consideration as they are great companions to add into tekkit.

Just the 1.5.2 standard edition. It'll speed up fps and have hd textures all built in. But it won't have quad core support though

I just condense everything that gets removed in tekkit lite into diamond blocks and stockpile them and then remove anything that might bug it then go to tekkit lite

Have you altered any of the bigdig files in the .technic folder. Eg add more mods or added optifine or any texture packs?

I've got a (tiny) server which me and my friends play bigdig on and this is a bug with all of us: whenever we join the server we join and walk around for 5 seconds and then fall through the void but we don't die. We just keep falling. Does anybody know why this happens

I've been using ic2 on my 1.5 modpack 4 a while and it's been the most buggy version I've ever seen so ill try and find the version dw20 uses on forge craft 1 on his series and try that and see if its better

Ic2 has a 1.5.1 beta version but it is very buggy, machines use up WAY too much power and reactor setups won't work like on 1.4.7 so if you want ic2 on 1.5, you'll have to face the consequences

Ic2 has a 1.5 version but is very buggy and rp2 has been split into seperate mods, there is microblocks on another mod and rednet which acts like alloy wire and loads of other mods that do the job better

Redownloading the launcher does nothing, back up all your worlds and delete the .technic folder in %appdata%/roaming then run the launcher again. It will wipe to a clean slate an hopefully it would work. But I'm not promising anything

Try updating or reinstalling java. Or another issue is that this error comes up when java does not have enough RAM allocated to it. Try allocating more RAM in the launcher settings
