    Any thoughts of a map reset/rebuild with the latest incarnation, or the addition of some mods (something with guns comes to mind, given the voraciousness of the zombies)? Just curious.

    How much memory do you have assigned to the launcher (gear in the upper right corner of the splash screen)? Anything less than about 2GB might cause it to do this.

    The rest of your post looks fine, but you need to update your title.

    Minecraft classic (or Tekkit Classic as far as I know) does not have a map mod. Hence, you will not get a map unless you add a mod yourself. All that takes is copying the appropriate map mod file into your mods folder in the modpack folder of your choice and running the pack on the launcher.

    You can run Java 7 32- and 64-bit on the same computer, to support 32-bit browsers. Just install both. Now I'm locking this thread because it should have been in the tracker anyway.

    The post could use some work. Any server rules? How about a little bit about the community? These can be copy/pasted from the server web site if you'd like, but they need to be here. You may not want to post a complete mod list, either - the mod pack page on the Platform can cover that. Highlights are probably fine.
