Welp so far I can confirm the endertank crash, easily delt with for now, but apparently this is the version of build craft where auto crafting tables took it in the butt, anyone know how the new ones work, if they work with minium stones at all ( my tests say nay so far but maybe im missing something) also any tips on how they interact with inventories would be helpful, as so far it appears they have to be hand loaded.

  3. pretty sure you don't, furnace the netherrack into nether brick than just like making actual brick blocks its 4 to 1 makes netherbrick. no rack once its furnaced
  4. magic mirror teleports you to the last place you were outside/sky visable/ had the mirror out. You probably teleported into a structure. also its a one way port, the idea is to get you out of a dungeon.
  5. This has nothing to do with the people here. the un and pass you use to launch tekkit is the same as your mojang one, why because it checks to confirm you actually have a minecraft account before dl and launch. Again it has nothing to do with tekkit if it don't work its on the other end.
  6. he said it will be in by the MC 1.6 tekkit update at the latest apparently calclavia promised some things that weren't ready in time.
  7. Technically i only know mech from tekkit, there was this one pre release version that a few of us downloaded from the launcher that was not rec or test promoted that had mek and atmoik science. thats where I learned everything i know about those two mods started.

  9. if you have a 64 bit processor you can get java 64x and up the allocated memory, I would suggest between 2-3 gigs is really good for ssp above that things get wierd and below that you have issues, also still expect performance drops when expoloring new areas ie growing the map because if you have a dungeon or a castle or something spawn it will lag you out for a couple seconds sometimes as much as a minute ( had 3 dungeons and a castle spawn in one set of chunks). But in fully genned areas you shouldn't see too much of an issue.
  10. if max you can give is 1 gb, don't expect solid performance, worldgen in hexxit is intense, and worlds will quickly fill that 1gb and your performance will drop more.

  12. Yeah Dash is right E+ is not really one of those mods that is dependent on MC version it should be relatively simple to back port, many modders do that when they have fewer dependencies and know that their work is used in older versions.

Right now building my fort into a redwood that about 5 stories up attaches to a nearby floating castle that was once owned by a lich, and now houses a small garden for berries and wheat and my portals to TF and Nether. Im also thinking about a way to carpet bomb twilight forest to turn the superthick forest into plains.
  14. I'm gonna point out that the pack was never designed to have 25 people at a time on, more like 10 max, its a cool idea but just not possible with that much worldgen to not have issues as the player count gets higher.

  17. You should have seen my early posts, frustrated by it would be putting it lightly. OT anyone else find a bunch of obsidian obelisks floating in the air, filled with lava? Anyone figure out a reason for them or something to do with them other than farm them for obsidian? I have yet to see one surrounded by monkeys worshiping it but I wouldn't be surprised if I did.
  18. yes but they are rare and oft suppressed by the idiot reports in this thread, they aren't usually bugs but user error. If you want a discussion start one, would be glad to see it for a change of pace.

  20. fusion output is amazing, quite frankly even with bio being a bit high, fusion is great if you need extreme powerlevels, im saying that antimatter and fulmination are novelties, even the mod creator seems to balance it that way, the idea behind fusion is as a power multiplier, it takes a small amount of input (the power needed to start the fusion and the power to make the deuterium) and turns it into massive amounts, with the configs at their newest settings 30x turbines multiplier the power output is massive, I can 100% saturate redstone conduit while filling 30+ recs. it works but who needs that much power, also up to this point I had not set up a system to automate the distribution of deuterium meaning the power source couldn't be automated as you could with biofuel meaning you either create a massive bank of batteries or you babysit it.

As I understand it fulmination is kind of a novelty, as is the antimatter, most people who can produce it don't need too, its also useful in those votlz and warfare servers where the animatter could be weaponized, fusion really isn't worth it if you have your biofuel running that well, Im going to do it for future proofing against newer mods with more energy consumption (eg galacticraft)
  22. I mean the central one of the 3x3 leaving the other 8 the one right above the reactor by it self does not heat the other 8 do. thats what i meant as in you can safely have the input by an ME bus without power loss. at least that water should not heat. if it does it is an anomaly.
  23. Sounds about right, btw you lose nothing but aesthetics by poping that middle turbine out, that and slightly more wiring, that block does not heat anyway.
