  1. Did you use the built in Windows Explorer utility, or a dedicated program? 7zip and the like put together much higher quality zips.
  2. Thermal expansion may be different from what you're used to, but it's really cool and if you want to upgrade to Tekkit at some point its essential.
  3. First I've heard about it. Or maybe you've been listening in on the plotting over at their forums? You have an account there, right?
  4. If you can't get it, you could try using AMIDST or similar to locate them. It's not technically cheating, just, you know, mapping? ;)
  5. Phased pipes are very buggy. For longer distances, use Tesseracts (I think those were added in time for your ancient 1.4 pack ) and n this situation I think we can all agree one more conductive pipe isn't too much of an investment.
  6. Oh, the whole gang's here! :siren:THEY'RE INVADING US!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!! Yeah everybody knows that.
  7. People will answer you if you ask properly. FILL OUT THE FORM. Arguably a computer running OSX is a PC as well. At least the OP clarified that Hexxit isn't working on a normal computer, as opposed to a Mainframe or a Cashier computer.
  8. It worked the second time and not the first?
  9. Try allocating more RAM. I'm sure you have at least 4GB in your machine, try allocating 2 GB in the technic launcher.
  10. Ahh. See, I thought I had tried that. Apparently I remembered wrong, as I just crafted some. It's absence in NEI is probably a metadata thing. FALSE ALARM!:siren:
  11. To be honest, my ultimate modpack would be a combination of Tekkit and FTB. I don't know if I'd add IC2, but Forestry and Railcraft's engines sure look useful. Dartcraft is cool, and Biomes 'o plenty is as well.
  12. Yes, of course. That's a vanilla mechanic. The ender eyes are tied to the location, not the blocks themselves. Eyes go to the nearest stronghold, so position yourself so that a different stronghold is closer than your current one. Just walk in a straight line from the stronghold to the spawn point of the world and then a little more. That should put you closer to another stronghold.
  13. Has anybody noticed that you can't craft the plain (no dark lines) tin decoration blocks? They show up in the creative menu but not NEI.
  14. Did you try, I dunno, "Submit a bug report"?
  15. Of course you have sufficient privileges. Any user can post a bug report.
  16. Oh OK never mind then.
  17. Yeah, that was pretty funny.
  18. Uhh what is it?
  19. Do it all again? Have you built a Space Station? Try a server? If you have such a cool world, show us some pictures!
  20. No pics no clicks. Also, distribute stuff in zips. It's more commonly used than rars.
  21. Feed the Beast?
  22. wow. WOW. I don't think it will be as successful as Hexxit though. Hexxit came out first so the youtubers picked it up. I think the main reason FTB is more popular than Tekkit is because they moved to 1.4 before we did. Now it's the other way around.
  23. Hmm. It'll probably be better in 1.6. I'll test it. Hey, who says we can't have a 1.1.6_01? I'd love some new AE stuff, and RiM is awesome.
  24. But a computer takes less space and far fewer materials than both. ;)
  25. Anybody for Wireless Redstone? Chicken Bones got a 1.5 build out.
