Java has nothing to do with you logging in to the launcher. Perhaps the mojang server login is down? You have no internet connection problems at all? I only receive that error when my internet is down

You go to Control Panel -> uninstall programs Find which antivirus you have, these are known to cause problems with the launcher: Norton, Mcafee, AVG. I don't know where Mac puts its control panel, you will have to google the answer

How much RAM do you have and how much did you allow the launcher to use? When you are on the launcher window, click the cog wheel button on the top right corner. Anything between 1-2 Gig is fine. I see a lot of "could not locate" spamming. Try deleting the folder of modpack you tried to install Do you have a firewall installed? You have to make Techniclauncher and exception for it.

Who says that? Your windows notifier or antivirus? I don't have mac, but I assume you need to right-click it and choose "Run as.." which will pop up a new window with a list of programs to choose from. Choose java on that list

What bits is your windows? what version, upgrade and bits is your java? Do you have any antivirus installed?

You are mentioning two bugs here, both of which have their own section. First you stated that the modpack would load and then crash with an error, then you say it loads completely to the minecraft main menu, but when creating a world it hangs up. For the latter, how long did you wait when it said to create a world? It took mine about 10sec until the world appeared. Did you wait for awhile or did you just wait 3 seconds and then impatiently closed the window? If the world does not load at all, please submit a bug report in HERE. If you keep getting crashes on the launcher window during loading, please make a bug report in HERE. Please fill out the report properly, because without the necessary info we can't help you. Please read the stickies in the future.

Try again... It's true that both mods don't like eachother, sometimes the rendering flickers on the smeltery and the lava looks like it is outside the tank. But otherwise it works and runs fine, I recommend installing Optifine if you have lag issues

There is this thing called Google. Why would that be a bad thing? You think the only people who should work with modpacks or mods should be slaving in front of the computer screen for free?

If forge is under Curse hands, will that affect Technic in any way?

Please fix your post, it's horribly low effort. Launcher version, click the cog button on the top right corner when you're on the launcher window Operating system - windows (7, 8, XP?), Linux or Mac? We need to know which one! Java version, Please post the actual version and upgrade, google if you don't know Antivirus program, if you don't have none installed then just post - none Error log, the Common Problems sticky will tell you how Please fill in the necessary info if you wish us to help you

I'm no good at reading error logs, all I see is reinforced chest and better storage. Back in the day when I was running my own custom modpack I crashed when I was inside a millenaire village, and it kept crashing whenever I logged in. The only solution for me was to get MCEdit to move my character further away from that village I recommend you get MCEdit, it's a nifty tool that allows you to get inside your world, without ever logging in the game, which prevents any crashing

Uninstall Norton. Don't disable it, uninstall it. You could have solved this yourself by looking through Common Problems After you uninstalled Norton, try right-clicking the launcher and choose the "run as admin" again.

I see something about reinforced chest on that report. Do you have any near the portal on overworld? Or perhaps the twilight dimension? It's funny, I've heard a similar crash happening on a private server... Edit. never mind. I missread, they talked about strongboxes.
