Where do these kids get this luncher? I would like to have a Technic luncher... =/ And yes OP, the solution is quite easy - though tedious and timeconsuming - and quite obvious. It IS a modpack, after all. What do you think a modpack consist of?

You are absolutly welcomed to help yourself! Nobody will stop you from doing that For starters, you could take a look on which section you posted on. Then, take a look at the Platform pagoda, Technic Bug and Bug Section in total. Now try figuring out which section is the correct one, where your post should have been on. Read the stickied threads for help.

Usually when I download stuff from internet, it ends up in downloaded file. As in C:\users\yourname\downloads Depends on your operating system, windows/mac/linux has different pathways.

In all seriousness, this "copying" statement I see being thrown in this forum over and over is tiredsome. FTB is NOT Technic-look-alike. FTB community is different. FTB moderators are different, both in mind and actions. FTB forum is largely different. And when it comes to modpacks... Did Technic grab a ©©monopoly©© on adventure modpack? My guess is that users on FTB saw Hexxit, but instead of touching the vile Technic Launcher!, asked Slow to make one similar for them. Who cares what someone somewhere else makes. I know red vs blue. I can't remember the names of the characters anymore... Sarge(?) is funny, but the one I love is the one everyone keeps pushing around. I don't remember his name... he makes the most ridiculous statements and is kinda dumb. I like the later seasons, the first dragged on kinda stale for my taste. Not too much character depth until later.

There is a cog wheel on the top right corner when you start the launcher, right next to the exit button. Click on it. If you have 32-bit OS then you are stuck with low ram, nothing anyone can do about that.

Doesn't vanilla minecraft use a fire entity for both ghasts and that Fire charge when it's shot from a dispenser? Couldn't the code you are looking for be found in vanilla MC?

IC2 is dead, Technic has moved on with other, more living mods. Which modpack are you playing that requires refined iron? The Technic's official wiki page might help on whatever you wish to build, but it mentions nothing about refined iron on the newer modpacks. Tekkit Lite and Classic has IC2. Are you playing those on the server?

This section is about managing modpacks. You'll want the Launcher Bug board for these kinds of problems. Read the Common Problems sticky, if the problem can't be solved there then submit a bug report. Also please look over the Common Problems-thread about your antivirus, sounds to me your antivirus might block the launcher.
