    why are you posting on Tekkit discussion if you're playing Attack of the B-team? They are seperate packs and have their own sections there is always lag on large modpacks, that's something nobody can do much about. Post on the Tracker if you're experiencing such heavy lags that it prevents you from playing

    make sure you can log in through the mojang launcher. If that doesn't work, contact Mojang Support and ask them why you can't log in

    1) Railcraft wont be added in any present or future technic packs. Covert made his point clear on that 2) there is no list. It's nobodies business on who has permission to use what. It's a personal agreement between technic and mod devs.

    we're still holding on to Lycanite's? I do like a challenge, but the Nether is a life-threatening voyage with those mobs

    No, as in, there are no plans to add IC2 back to the updated Tekkit. Thermal Expansion fill that role quite well and do much better. There is definitely other custom packs that users have created that has IC2, which those are I don't know, you'll have to find them

    1) wrong section. Off-topic means we talk about anything here EXCEPT minecraft or mods tied to it. 2) No. Install it yourself if you want that mod. Everyone else is satisfied ( or atleast me) with BC and ThermalEx. If you need help with making a custom pack, post in Platform Pagoda or read the Custom pack-guide there.

    we don't post crash issues on Potluck. If your custom pack doesn't work, post in Platform Pagoda. Please use a pastebin site instead of spilling the log on your post

    haven't seen that error line before. I'm unsure if this is a modpack or server issue... Amaxter, creator of UMS, has posted a thread on this section for tech help with his pack. Might wanna ask there I recommend posting the whole technic log (through a pastebin site) so he can analyze the issue properly

    your friend is running a pack from the platform? Then you shouldn't waste time hassling with downgrading and stuff like that, this is exactly what the platform was built for. You download the pack and connect to the server, simple.

    this has nothing to do with this thread as this thread is asking about an updated Tekkit, which already exist. The latest updated launcher is 439, the modpack version of Tekkit Classic is stuck on 1.2.5 MC. As for 1.8 I have no idea, it sounds like you're referring to your java version? The numbers can be confusing, so please make a report on the Tracker and follow the Tracker Rules and Guidelines so we can properly sort it out
