  1. Yh 1.8 implemented a few changes to the way it deals with the jar files. For the most part minecraft is not yet compatible with 1.8. It's likely only future minecraft versions will be compatible. Switch to 1.7 and you should be all good :)
  2. Unless it's crashing the server or isn't working assume it's fine. Me cable I believe can be connected up together
  3. The processor isn't really the major part to Minecraft hosting, it's mainly the ram.
  4. Usually Means you have the file loaded. Make sure all instances are closed, restart the pc or delete the folder within technic manually and try re downloading it all
  5. So far I have not found any issues with ic2 hence stable on our side. Also if they are showing off their mod then they really should update it with fixes more often than once every few months as currently there's a massive list of issues with voltz 3 right now, the fact that it was released as recommended at one point is a far fetch to it's current state. It can be a great modpack if it was updated frequently to keep up to date with the mod releases. The big issue they have is that 1.6.x of minecraft is unstable meaning they got more issues getting it perfected running under that version than if they just update to 1.7.x. I've proven that myself. Someone just needs to update ICBM to 1.7.10. I won't post my modpack on here as I would think it's against rules but so far the only issues I have is with the power suits mod but that's in an early state so I expect it to be unstable.

  7. Interestingly I've made a custom 1.7.10 voltz style server. Which has IC2 1.7.10 which is in development, and mekanism. Its a cross breed of Voltz 2 & 3. Although still missing ICBM which has been abandoned. Stability is 100% and is updated every day. No idea why we still havent had an update for voltz 3 yet seeing as everything is far outdated. Stability is needed desperately before they add any new mods in. But thats unlikely to happen anytime soon if ever.
  8. Copper wires have a limit to how much power goes through them before they burn out. As the heat generator is a source it will try to output a lot of power. As estplayer_ said use universal cabling.
  9. Also what error do you get when you try to connect? Sometimes if the server owner restarts the server that can fix connection issues as for some reason they like to reject select players for reasons beyond me
  10. Norton is one of the worst security program's to interfere even when disabled, you'd have to uninstall it temporarily in order to confirm it's not that
  11. Its normal. Just grab your clients lib folder and copy the contents to the server's lib folder
  12. Usually means you have the mod open still
  13. Ok, i managed to get a burst of power first time, then it just stops... Nothing changed from the point it gets power so im stuck again..

Tried both individual and large even with steam funnels still nada, many of the mods are really out of date and experimental builds, there's stable releases now that are far more up to date, I've tested the latest version and it works fine on multiplayer. Just desperately need an update to all the mods seeing as the modpack should be updating constantly
  15. Done all of that, multiplayer give no power output even though the reaction is occuring. Singleplayer works fine.

  19. Most of the mods are now outdated and items dont work correctly. Single player reactors output power, multiplayer they fail to output.. Please guys issue an update just to give owners the latest mods, most of the issues have been fixed in the latest mod versions. It'll hopefully fix most of the issues keeping the server from going recommended
  20. So get this resonant-induction-development-0.3.1.332 is the current version on the modpack. Resonant-Induction-0.3.1.369 is the current STABLE release... No wonder why theres so many issues. Were using development builds....
  21. Ok so i've managed to get everything wired in however even though the plasma reaction is occuring it refuses to output any power. Seems to be a hit and miss with charging. One minute we will have a fully charged battery, then the next nothing, all the while reactions still happening. Duplicated in singleplayer it works fine. Is there some oddity i have set on the server?
  22. Power is a nightmare in this, gotta have a science degree to make a reactor :-p
  23. Not possible currently in 3.1.2..just refuses to do anything related to accepting power, plasma, you name it it doesnt work...
  24. I want to remove players from showing up on the map. As its a raiding style mod its not the best thing to have players popping up on the map. Gives the game away a bit. Anyone know how i turn this off?
