  1. I mentally put a "to" in there before I re-read it and realised that there was none.
  2. Soooooo... You've been here as long as you have, and still have to ask?
  3. I guess to reinstall from scratch. Sorry, can't really help any further.
  4. This is normal, the "mod chooser" is not. Are you playing the game when you try to delete the folder?
  5. Re: Craftbukkit jar/Tekkit update? Just remembered that there is not an SMP version of EE, so they may be adding that in and stuff.
  6. Re: [survival] Survival Island For Technic ! So there are. It looked like an Eldritch Tree when I first looked at it.
  7. Re: Craftbukkit jar/Tekkit update? wow real mature dude > First, there was a bug with block IDs. That was (I imagine) supposed to be quite a quick fix - all they had to do was fiddle with a few numbers. Then, a member of one of the Technic team's family died. Yes, that's right - they died. So that quite understandably put the development of Tekkit off for a while. It has been stated that Tekkit is the main priority at the moment, so it shouldn't be that long until it is released. You honestly don't have a leg to stand on with your "getting annoyed". The team do this for free, in their spare time. What is so important about Tekkit that requires getting annoyed? It's a game, and it will be updated when it is updated.
  8. Re: [survival] Survival Island For Technic ! There's no tree to get normal wood, so you can't get planks, I think. Or is it only the huge trees that break into sticks?
  9. You could use something like Teamviewer to poke around. I don't think it uses SSH, so...
  10. Okay, thanks.
  11. Are there plans to add a "Play Offline" button to the launcher? I do have a legit copy of Minecraft - as I guess you've all gathered by now - but don't want to give my password to my brother to use on the other computer, since it's the password I use for most things. I have downloaded the pack, and I can get offline mode working by repeatedly putting in the wrong password, but it's a little irritating for him (and me, when he complains about it) having to do this each time he wants to play Technic.
  12. Re: Metropolis Blog Kind of like how a H-bomb actually works IRL. But different.
  13. Re: IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WHO DONT HAVE PREMIUM!!! 1. You don't have to turn off the router to do this. You can just put in the wrong password a few times. 2. This doesn't work. You need premium to download it in the first place.
  14. According to the internet, the error there is an unhandled EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. Looking into it a bit more, though it sounds like it might be a buffer overflow or some't or possibly a file access thing. Are you admin on the computer? EDIT: It looks like it is trying to write to a memory location that either doesn't exist, or it doesn't have write permission to. A lot of things I've read about this is to do with GUI stuff. Try updating your Java.
  15. I was literally just about to post about that. Is there any plan to get it to check for launcher updates when the .JAR is run?
  16. Have you seen Cheap Shot in a troll-ish mood? A small collection, since admittedly a lot are in Locked thread that deserved a good troll:
  17. Not really related to this thread at all, but is your first language French?
  18. I did have a massive diamond factory, but then the update happened and all, so...no pics. Guess it didn't happen then, hm?
  19. Don't forget that there is a machine somewhere that will make lava. You don't even need to go to the Nether!
  20. I can't even remember what the old one was. But the OP could still have worded their post better. How is it worse? What would you do to improve it? I doubt it will get changed, but you never know.
  21. Tekkit isn't working. There's some mess-up with block IDs.
  22. Re: 6 chamber Nuclear Reactor Setup Has anyone ever tried brute-forcing their way to the "perfect" reactor? Like tried every possible setup and compared the results?
  23. I thought that the garbage collector dumped stuff from memory when there was no reference to it. Why would having more space let it build up?
  24. Sorry, can't really help. I just wondered if there was something obvious that had been done in the code, but without poking through the whole thing, I can't say... Where did you get the source from anyway?
