  1. Unfortunately for you, since your CPU is quite old, you can't go past java version 8u51. http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=98428
  2. Modpack is not zipped correctly. Please directly zip the bin/config/mods folder, not the folder they're in. Also, no mods included other than forge? As you are using the recommended version of Forge, use the installer "as-is".
  3. It appears responsive. Its also a 2 GB modpack, which implies a badly done modpack at best. Cache folder, which is quite a bit over 1 GB is included. Minecraft.jar is being distributed, which is considered illegal.
  4. How are you hosting the server? Are you hosting it on the same computer as you are playing on? If so, the server IP for you will either be localhost, localhost:8080 or 127.0.0.1 .
  5. When you see this: Click the download link. If it downloads, just put it in .technic/assets/launcher. If it doesn't download either, you have bigger issues.
  6. Forge update 1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2851 changed things. You need the Forge Installer renamed as modpack instead of Universal. Download and rename the Installer, DO NOT run/install/extract the installer.
  7. New pastebin link doesn't work either, please don't make them private. Also, not a launcher issue, should go into Platform Pagoda.
  8. First question: Why is it 1.2 GB? Probably because you are including the cache folder, which you shouldn't. (And ofcourse, you have your old modpack versions in there. Don't do that, that causes MASSIVE unneeded modpack bloat) Second question: Why am I seeing all kinds of files in the bin folder? I should only see the forge installer, renamed to modpack.jar. Not files indicating that its already installed, since that won't work. Last one: Why are you including your own old crash-reports? Second question is your issue btw.
  9. That actually might be the issue. Set it to half of max, Java is not good with a LOAD of RAM.
  10. Its not a launcher issue. Its you not allocating enough RAM to the game. If you can open the launcher, then its not a launcher issue. Anything that happens when starting a modpack is a modpack/system issue.
  11. Literally just checked. TekkitMain (Tekkit) does not have autojump. Did you mean Tekkit Legends perhaps? This is only a thing in creative mode.
  12. Why do people keep requesting help but then delete the file?
  13. Well yes, that's a dead download. https://download.nodecdn.net/containers/reforged/modpack/nail/8.1.2/pixlemon-1-12-2-8.1.2-universal-jar.zip Unless its this? https://download.nodecdn.net/containers/reforged/modpack/nail/8.1.2/pixelmon-1-12-2-8.1.2-universal-jar.zip But that's a 400+MB file, that takes a while to download.
  14. File has been deleted.
  15. Attack of the bteam. Old bug related to joining servers. No fix, you just have to keep trying to join. This may take up to like 3-4 tries.
  16. Include log. Include WHICH mod version you used.
  17. No. 16 GB is already far too much for java. You are already cutting into your performance with that. Literally, more RAM = Detrimental to your performance. Welcome to Java.
  18. Its not that technic doesn't work with newer java versions. It's that any modpack that's for 1.12.2 or lower will simply not work as Forge 1.12.2 and lower is not compatible with anything past java 8.
  19. One: Do not include the cache folder in your modpack. Your modpack is now over 1 GB, it should be below 500 MB. Two: The link works on my end, provided you change the ?dl=0 to ?dl=1. Are you sure you are using the same link?
  20. You downloaded the developer versions of Galacticraft and add-ons. Don't do that, get the versions meant for playing. When you do that, make sure to get the matching version of More Planets as well: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/more-planets-gc-addon/files/3165054
  21. Please include technic log. High probability of one or more missing dependencies. Use pastebin/ubuntu paste for sharing your log. Also, you should've posted this in Platform Pagoda. Any issues regarding modpacks go there.
  22. Based on the username, this was handled on Discord. The owner's IP changed.
  23. Posted in the wrong section, this should go in Platform Pagoda. Post your technic launcher log (Launcher Settings button on launcher -> Open Logs button) of the relevant day here, using an log upload site like https://pastebin.com/ or https://paste.ubuntu.com/ Return here with a link to your log.
  24. Technic is an executable that's both the installer and the program in one. It puts all its files in the .technic folder, which is found in the %appdata%\.roaming folder in Windows (or the ~Application Support folder in Mac I believe, its been a while).
