  1. Ask "Pretty please, with sugar on top, don't attack me, sirs?". Show them you're willing to get right in there (or at least let them get in there).
  2. You've stated that point several times. However, you've given no reasons for why it is better, other than a flimsy "There's a copper wire block!" and a weak "compatibility" reason. (Also: If it works together, it's compatible!)
  3. I beg your pardon? There's no copper wire in this recipe.
  4. Tried to delete my post. Apparently that's not a feature on these forums. So, instead you get this post, which is still a double-post, but was intended not to be one! Because it should have been deleted! Sorry!
  5. You can make it yourself. Don't know the exact recipe off the top of my head, but I think it's not too expensive. Check it out in NEI.
  6. If one did not think to use the ONE, SOLE power source in the whole modpack, one deserves to be mocked.
  7. And some people, it seems, need to be handheld through everything. Seriously, like Lethosos said, engines are the only power source currently in the game. If you've tried everything, you would have found that it would have worked. Therefore, you DIDN'T try everything. Leading to Lethosos answering your question in the way he did.
  8. Yeah, ion engines are best used on probes, and only for flying through space with. They're terribly weak.
  9. I did do my research. Dev build =/= Official build. Exclusive build =/= Official build. Next time, do your research before posting to tell somebody to do their research. Anyway, IC² is outdated, and most of it can be done better with Thermal Expansion. The only things you'll miss are power generation (irrelevant, because the power generation was only there to power the incredibly hungry IC² machines) and perhaps crops.
  10. An official build of IC² is not available for Minecraft 1.5.x. If you'd use that, it'd simply mean going back to 1.4.7, which is kinda opposite of what this new version of Tekkit is about.
  11. And said area could also be used to house your powerplant. Massive V12 engine blocks EVERYWHERE.
  12. I don't think Mo' Creatures has been in any recent Tekkit. At any rate, if you can find a version of Mo' Creatures for 1.5.1 (there should be one, I think?) and add all the required mods that aren't already in the Tekkit version you want to use as a base. You may have to change one or two configs in case there are block ID issues, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work.
  13. Do you know how to add mods yourself? Because it's nothing more complicated than that, really. Find .technic in your Users (? I'm working with a Dutch copy of Windows...) directory and work from there.
  14. It's the official "oh, shit. Our website's dead" video. It's pretty funny.
  15. Just a reference for the future, awejames: Double posting doesn't make people help you any faster, and is actually against the rules. Anyway, there's no wiki as far as I'm aware. The wiki supaman was referring to must have been the GalactiCraft wiki.
  16. Redstone Energy Cells. As has been pointed out several times.
  17. Compact? Pfft. I want massive V12's EVERYWHERE. I'm not being sarcastic, or anything. I really do want massive V12 set-ups all over my base.
  18. You need a separate machine for that. The Fuel Loader. It'll need to be powered too.
  19. There is no official 1.5 release of IC². Also, for everybody: It's best you don't quit the game while in space (space station or on the moon) during single-player. I keep getting "Shutting down internal server" indefinitely.
  20. Because IC² was the only thing in Tekkit that produced power. Hint.
  21. - TAC Fuel Balancer, when/if you decide to get into aircraft and/or single stage to orbit craft. - B9 Aerospace Pack. - Firespitter Pack (aircraft parts) Those are just a few high quality parts that spring to mind.
  22. And I've only just gotten "full" mastery of IC². Now I can go back to figuring out which machine does what. *sigh* Still, the new pack looks interesting enough that I'll probably switch over from Tekkit Lite to the new Tekkit, even though I thought I'd hold out until the 1.6 update (horses!). Of course, I'll heavily mod the modpack again. Thaumcraft, Forestry, MineChem, BiblioCraft. Oh, yes. EDIT: How many planets and moons will the version of GalactiCraft included in Tekkit Nu have? Just Kerbin and the Mun the "Earth" and the moon? Or will this version have more?
  23. I am not a web-designer, but I'm figuring those are templates. Which, I think, are simply layered images, with the ingredients also having links added to them. I don't know much more than that, but see if you can contact this guy. He seems to be one of the head honchos over on the Tekkit Lite wiki.
  24. I am mildly annoyed. I accidentally deleted my save. (Yes, that happens.) Now I can't seem to build the most basic of aircraft any more. Haven't even tried rebuilding the R-11 "Phoenix" (The hypersonic jet), since I can't get get the F-7 "Marine" to fly straight like it used to do. What the hell happened?
  25. No. Seriously, no. There is no Kercury, Kars, Kenus, Kjupiter, Katurn, nothing. The star isn't called the Kun. The satellite isn't the Koon. Therefore, there isn't a Krussia, Kunited Kates kof Kamerica or Keurope. Seriously. I will disembowel and dismember you. With a blunt, wooden spoon. I mean, one of the devs (NovaSilisko) hates you if you do that. Do you want the dev to hate you? Also, if you're from Europe, you can buy the game directly from the dev's website. It will save you about seven Euro, I think. On the downside, come the next update you may have to wait a day or two for the download servers to get back from having been strangled to death by a mob. Decide for yourself if that's worth the seven Euro you saved.
