Eh... Nothing has be removed. The malicious code is disabled but still there I believe. But doesn't matter for me at least. Works perfect for me. ;)

Admin "Buttons": toggle day/night, gamemode, etc.
Iscamania replied to jusalilpanda's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
First: Make sure the server has every plugin loaded, especially Not Enough Items. (NEI) Second: Make sure the names of the admins are in OP.txt. Admin rights from a system like Permissions-Ex (PEX) are ignored by NEI. Third: The second step is somewhat optional. In the config folder you have a file called 'NEIServer.cfg'. Open it. It's a small file, look for '#List of players who can use these features.' After this you'll find the permissions. I'll show you what I've got myself: #List of players who can use these features. #Eg. time=CodeChicken, Friend1 permissions { creative=OP, Iscamania delete=OP, Iscamania enchant=OP, Iscamania heal=OP, Iscamania item=OP, Iscamania load-state=OP, Iscamania magnet=OP, Iscamania notify-item=CONSOLE, OP, Iscamania rain=OP, Iscamania save-state=OP, Iscamania time=OP, Iscamania } OP means everyone who is in the op.txt file in the main folder of tekkit and as you could see, you could also put names of players here. I have put my own name there, because I'll sometimes de-op myself for a low profile. (I can also re-op myself when I done this but how that works is a different story.) Anyway, it should work if you follow my instructions. EDIT: You're welcome, I'm glad it helped. -
3.0.3 Rei Minimap slime chunk problem
Iscamania replied to msknight's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Yeah right, a bug... I call it a feature. A feature that doesn't cause any problems. Hackers can't do anything with it and it was kinda cool. Useful information, like I said and completly harmless. My opinion: Jeb shouldn't have remove this. It's stupid. -
Well, revert the changes you made and put a Z in front of the foresty jar. I do also have Forestry up and running with no problems at all. In fact, the new beekeeping is awesome! :D

3.0.3 Rei Minimap slime chunk problem
Iscamania replied to msknight's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Which is very incredible stupid. Why have Mojang removed this? I don't get it at all. Sending the seed wouldn't cause lag or other problems and it is useful information. -
Well... I don't know what he's talking about either. Tekkit == Modified Bukkit, but I see he has just the wrong Java version. @XMaster1596321: Update your Java to version 7 (Also called version 1.7) on the server and you're done. You can't forget Bukkit or remove it. Tekkit == Bukkit like I said.

I'm glad it helped you. Unfortunally, I've no idea what "repair active" means/does. Do you get this message in the console or ingame?

3.0.3 Rei Minimap slime chunk problem
Iscamania replied to msknight's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Why are you using the dev version? Doesn't make sense since 3.0.3 is officially out. Anyway, in the official release it seems also not to be working while it did in 1.1. Didn't test that function yet. Seems to be broken in this version. I think you can do very little to none about this. I'm sorry. I tested this on my server and I also tested this on single player and there it seems to work! I don't know if it's disabled by default on the server or not. I can't remember if I tested in SP or MP in 1.1. I don't really use the function, I've no idea. -
If you only use the map to find your way, try MCMap. It's nice, easy and fast. It doesn't display any modded blocks by default though. It creates maps like this: http://deathincorporated.nl/DeathCraft/ As you could see, the volcanos aren't visible but the lava is.

Server hangs when IC2 adds material: 30107:x30107?
Iscamania replied to James Fisher's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Didn't see your reply... Yeah, installing in the client is simple. Just use the same config and you're set. (If I can remember correctly...) -
Recipys not working with any tree choping mods
Iscamania replied to Kamenio's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
How are we supposed to know what mods you mean. Be more specific, you aren't telling anything else than that you couldn't craft some shit. -
Sadly? If you´ve tried to load it up with Tekkit 2.1.1, there´s nothing wrong. As long you still have the .mca files in <savefolder>\region\ it´s all fine when you load it up in 3.0.4

how do you block nukes on tekkie 3 server
Iscamania replied to rowan212's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
ROFL! (Sorry, this is funny and so true...) Anyway, try the search-field at the top on the right side of this page. It isn't hard, just type 'I am a noob' 'block nukes'. -
You're welcome. Actually, I was a bit lazy to not search the forum for Towny. (Maybe you are as well, no offense ) Anyway, there seems to be a solution for that as well. Use Towny Advanced 0.80.1.0 (http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/towny-advanced/) After starting the server you probably still get the error. If you do, open the config and try setting it to this: bypass_version_check: 'true'
-
Use this version of Factions instead: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/factions/files/38-1-7-5-beta/ I'll let someone else answer the Towny problem, because I haven't tried it yet.

I can't help you with this, but I really laughed on your story about the volcano being generated on one of your players. That's funny, although it isn't really supposed to happen ofcourse. About them spawning from nowhere, I have that also happen sometimes. I thinks Jay? is right about the .bob objects...
-
Ok, I can't help you with that one. I haven't made such a map, but maybe there's one on this forum, idk.: http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/get-lost-grotto.41/
-
The ores were optional, like I wrote. And for player made maps, that's also possible ofcourse. This forum at minecraftforums is filled with maps: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forum/53-maps/ I'm almost sure you could also find hunger games maps on one of the 1891 pages with threads. EDIT: Like this one: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1267874-hungergames-lostsquare/ <--- Looks like the map from the Yogscast, only smaller.
-
@shakey: Looking at the error does tell me that you've left some of optifine in it. I don't know which files and I'm not gonna research it for you. But that's what going on. Also, I highly recommend that you don't remove optifine.
-
Just a little tip: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1202202-hunger-games-map-generator/ Optional: If you have MCEdit, you could load the generated map and then press CTRL-A to sellect all chunks and then you could choose the repop function. When you load the map in Tekkit, it will generate Tekkit ores and stuff in the map.

Is there a Tekkit compatible plugin to hide names in-game?
Iscamania replied to Sauruz's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
No problem. As far I understand, the Bukkit plugins aren't that good in hiding names. This mod will do fine, because it works also client-side. You can still display names and even set a distance for when it becomes visible, while not visible at all time like usable. Or just turn the names completly off, your choice, just take a look at the settings before you use it. ;) -
You are right for the server-side, but at client-side you have a special version of Optifine for multicores. Try to do this with a fair amount of Nukes in ssp and normally, your client will be unusable after that and crash: I'm using the special multicore version and I can ensure you I was able to play further after this if I wanted to. Hopefully the servers will also become multicore some day. :)
