Are you basing those numbers on American ISPs? Iths's ISP is from Norway. Other parts of the world actually get very good speed. A Friend of mine from Norway has a 50mb/s connection, I believe. Nope, just not in Norway.

It's the bukkit team doing this I believe. At least try "tried" to give developers a few days to get up to date before dropping the new version. Though I they would have found that world gen error earlier they could have just slapped the patch on and not have to do this update. Ironically, the more they update minecraft the more out of date there server software gets. Never mind they actually have made some progress on it now. You are treading on dangerous waters there as that is basically a low content post. Just a friendly warning.

In this same question in Cafe lame he claims he needs it because the yogcast told him to backdate to 1.7.3 and play it. What the user failed to realize is that those videos are OLD and the reason they failed to mention the pack update was because that video is OOOOLD (if I remember right the backdated from 1.8.1 even).

DF mod compilers and players actually have a sense of humor will let something that calls its users lazy newbs become the official unofficial mod compilation for the game. In other news the technic pack is now the "Whiny kids" pack.

Ahh nice. I Couldn't remember if the next game was supposed the 3rd installment of the series or another episodic expansion. I have noticed that. Maybe we should ask for Half-Life 2: Episode 2 - Part 2 instead.

That was what I meant. I though it had to be a game that you had purchased and downloaded from Steam proper and not just any game you added via steams "Add a 3rd party game" option. I didn't even think about the fact I could play in full screen and check the wikis at the same time. I really will have to try that later.

Unless you fry the battery and it need to be plugged in constantly. D=< Also i think that is more smartphones since you can whip it in situations where a laptop/netbook is a tad bit cumbersome. Plus some can take up to 8MP pictures of your dong video game collection.

I am surprised they might have added that since that is one of the reason to by a game on steam instead of just pirate and run it as a 3rd party game. Be nice to be able to use that overlay in games. Well it partly depends on your UI size (and if auto, window size) as more space for the UI means less pages.

We are talking about the same people (the average minecraftian) who want snapshots of minecraft to be official updates and bitch when an update breaks their mods without a lot of new content. Though a mod dev could tweet estimations like "Have to evacuate my bowels. The mod will be pushed forward a few more minutes from the previous estimate. i don't poop and code."

I tied the newb pack to see what it was, it just seemed like it was giant config menu, with a few tools to make some task easier and textures to make IDing what something is easier, but It still didn't seem like I was playing one of those facebook games that have the learning curve of a straight line. I really do need to get into it. Also if it does not exist there needs be a "submenus: the game" The main problem is more that they are so light on the rules that it lets dickbags. trolls, and noobs. I have been on a board where I can swear I think the dickbags that make up the regulars have scared the other off. To me it seemed "OMG you like something I don't, you are a freak, I'm going to just spew generalizations about you now." You have to grow some balls and hurt feelings if you want to keep a forum from decaying into chaos... Which is hard since the more lax you are the more users to view more ads and get you more money.

Re: BTW'S COMING TO TECHNIC No dude, not that BTW, the Break The Windows mod, it has horrible animations and leaves so many glass shard entities that it causes major lag and cuts up your feet. There is not way Kaker would add such filth to the back. Even more so since the creator said the Technic Team was "A bunch of Poo-poo faced doody heads." I love the Bomb Throwing Wookies mod but the creator has not updated that since 1.8.1 as he is busy with his research into space travel. Gosh do some research of your own.
