If you want to make the default ores more common, you can tweak spawn rates and vein sizes in the config, which is pretty awesome. You can also change the spawn heights, if you really hate them.

Zeppelin Mod wouldn't let that work. If you put BC stuff on a Zeppelin, it would disappear.

You can enable the wool recipe in one of the config files.

EE3 is fine. It's EE2 which was overpowered, which is why Pahimar gave it an overhaul.

The general idea should be putting the mods and coremods folder together, delete any duplicate mods(such as NEI), and fix any ID conflicts.

Are you certain that there are no more? And does rebooting lower the RAM usage?

I'm fairly sure that your server shouldn't be using over a Terabyte of RAM at any point... 3/4 of it is still pretty impressive. On a serious note, do you have Dimensional Anchors or whatever they were called enabled? It's easy to miss one of 3 chunkloaders in the game. Try rebooting and see what you get then.
