I think he provoked the moderators by claiming that they had to do something about his problem, even though they both could not and should not do anything about it. It was a server problem, and his whole point was that because the name "Tekkit" was on the server, it was obviously their fault if anything happened there. This was not only completely false, but completely stupid. He held on to this belief, and that's what he got. The moral of this story is: if you're wrong, face it and man up. It gets good results from everyone, and also makes you look awesome :)

Oh, that? That one was mostly his fault. To be honest, I don't think he even knew what he was actually asking, and he never seemed to answer when asked what he actually wanted us to do about his problem. We gave him as much of a solution as possible, then he started claiming that the admins were at fault and neglecting their duty by letting griefing happen on a server they had no control over(don't ask how that works, we couldn't work it out which is why it ended up like it did). He basically started getting angry when people told him that they couldn't do anything, and persisted with his argument for them to "do something"(he never even specified the "something"). It was never really going to end well when he refused to accept that there was nothing that anyone here could do about the... Pretty much nonexistent problem.

I doubt Lite would fix either of those, but as for the memory problem, I could check that out. How much RAM are you giving Tekkit? Too much can make the memory dumps cause far larger lag spikes. You should also check the auto save option, to make sure it's not too frequent.

Nah, that only really happens when people can't accept they're wrong, or make false accusations. I think sometimes they get blown out of proportion because of previous experiences with idiots post similar, perhaps more extreme views, but it only has any effect when that person persists with their misinformed point as if it were true. There are a lot of people like that, it's not so surprising that people get hostile towards them when they start making unfounded claims all the time. It is also a lot of fun.

Quite honestly, nobody will like the default settings, especially if they've used the mods it screws up before. It's not adding content in any form, it's just breaking other people's. The default settings even completely remove some features, such as the mass fabricator. Now tell me, what is the point in a mod which removes content, not adds it?

Put Ferrous in a Pulveriser. It's TE stuff. Check your configs for the server, Shinma. Look, specifically, in the Factorisation and IC2 configs, and check for their ores being enabled. Like I said, some processing may create different versions of that ore. I'm not sure why the induction furnace would create different ores though, unless you put different ores in.

You probably want to go through Mystcraft ages until you find a Star Fissure. That or, if you have console commands, use the /tpx 0 command to teleport to the overworld. You can remove Mystcraft by deleting it from the mods folder. If you do this on your server, it won't need removing on your client. However, removing it on your client will stop you from connecting to Tekkit Lite servers with Mystcraft enabled.

So your point is that GT must be good because it's not as easy as EE? And that anyone using EE must be completely unable to do anything but sit in front of a Condensor? Great logic there...

You...really don't want Tekkit 3.1.3. It's extremely buggy. It's not recommended for a reason. If you really want it, I think changing the download link to say 3.1.3 instead of 3.1.2 or something works. You might also want to read the forum rules, since you broke one there.

Definitely sounds like your download messed up the configs then. Pressing the "Clear Cache" button in the launcher options should fix it. Not sure if this deletes worlds, so make a backup just in case. Better safe than sorry, and you might need it later.

Ok, so are you getting multiple versions of the same ore? Whatever the answer, backup your world and try redownloading Tekkit Lite. If the problem persists, we'll have to think of something else...

More veins is definitely better than increased vein size.

Change Offline Mode to true in the server config. I think that's what you do, anyway.

That explains it. I was assuming you were playing with the default configs,miso only had one type of each ore. Did you perhaps follow a guide to increase the amount of ore spawning? I know I've seen a lot of people saying that the "best" way to increase the amount of copper, tin etc. spawning is to activate all the other ores, which is not only a bad idea but far from the best way. If you check out the Thermal Expansion config (Thermal Expansion ores are the ones which are set to spawn as default), it has options to allow you to change the spawn rates and stuff.

Wait for it to charge the machines up maybe? It seems like it's working, although I'm not sure why it looks so slow. Is it only those 3 machines it's charging?

I think I gave you a version when I suggested it, but for a serious change, I recommend changing the minimum spawn height to 0 and possibly adding one or two to the frequency per chunk. I don't recommend changing the vein size. It can get a bit too much to be worth doing, trust me. I doubled it and, while not insane, it does feel like the amount of ore per vein is too much. Leave that one as it is.
