Take your time and focus on the quality of all those things - it's better than you rushing to make super villains. I'd much rather you pimped out the mod with tonnes of quality features than you just rushed anything.

How about a "common problems and solutions" section containing stuff like "make sure your modpack.jar is actually a .jar" and similar stuff, to save explanations.

You missed out the part where you actually download Forge You probably want to put that part in bold, and perhaps provide a link to the Forge file server, because that's one of the most important steps.

It was Redpower which threw the error when I forgot to remove GregTech, IIRC. Nevertheless, He has GregTech in there, and that needs to be sorted, whether RP2 is the real culprit or not.

On the subject of mod suggestions, can we have Metallurgy 2 added before the server leaves beta? Pretty pwease? I just discovered it, and it's awesome

You probably have Gregtech installed. Unless you change the directory the modpack is installed, GregTech won't work with the Technic Launcher.

Put it in the modpack.jar and it should work fine. The modpack.jar basically overwrites the minecraft.jar, and prevents any illega; distribution of the minecraft.jar.

If only more error reports were as informative, clear and mature as this one. This should be stickied as an example of how to write bug reports.
