Old school RPG games? I'll give you a list of some of the best I've played. No idea how similar to that game they are, but I love them Age Of Empires II Empire Earth Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds (and expansion Clone Campaigns) They're all amazing games, and well worth playing

Holy crap! That looked amazing! I thought the idea of progress was to add new awesome stuff in, not remove it... Did they ever give a reason for doing this? It went from the game of my dreams to... Well, a good game until compared to what it was.

ID resolver doesn't actually change the config files - it just makes a new set. So no, you couldn't. However, I think there's something in Options to make a list of all the IDs, although you'll have to copy them across to the mod ID files.

I don't have much to do at the moment so I'm messing around on the wiki - don't expect me to add much in the way of pictures or anything particularly detailed since I'm on the iPad, but I'll see if I can scavenge a few pictures off other wikis and mod posts.

I'll combine two here: I like Luke's one, but Applied Fermentation is also pretty awesome. How about Industrial Fermentation?

I agree, Darkspore is a pretty good game. I enjoy it, but it's one of those games that you play for a bit then forget about.

Oh, you mean the original. I quite enjoyed it, to be honest. The spam of similar RPG spinoffs was terrible, though. I'm looking at you, Spore Heroes.

How did they destroy Spore? Was there a sequel so bad that they don't talk about it anymore? Sims 3 doesn't seem to bad either. SimCity is going to be a real kick in the arse for EA though, the amount of trouble it's causing them will probably stay with them forever. I wonder if they'll be sued for lieing about it being impossible for them to have an offline mode...

No, you don't. You don't download the platform, you download the launcher. The platform is the custom modpacks, the launcher is the program that launches modpacks. You can't download the platform, but you can download things off the platform through the launcher.

To be fair, what's there now isn't exactly angelic either. All I can see there is someone raging at someone who tried to help him because they didn't make their question clear enough. Maxis didn't really post anything which should cause that kind of rage, so he's brought this on himself. There is also popcorn, too.

It's in C:/Users/YourComputerUsernameHere/Appdata/.technic/Tekkitlite/config/cofh IIRC. Replace "YourComputerUsernameHere" with the username you use to log into your computer with. This goes in the bar on top of windows explorer (the program you use to open My Documents with). I may be different if you're on a mac.
