Try google. There's usually a program or method to remove them. It would also probably be an idea to avoid doing whatever you did to get it in the first place. If you're downloading dodgy stuff, well, stop downloading dodgy stuff You can already see one of the milder results of not staying safe, so just keep a good antivirus and be sensible and you shouldn't need to do this again - much better to prevent it than repair it.

Yeah, it was worded pretty badly. Blanket-naming every player of a pack as "bad" is never a good idea, especially when some of the most experianced players out there play it. You can judge the pack, but deciding how good at Minecraft the players are by it isn't a good idea

Yes. Yes you are. Because you seem to miss the point that 0.6.2 contains mod updates, which are far more awesome and useful than the MC updates. You also seem to miss the fact that modders have lives, and don't spend their entire lives programming to please you. You also seem to miss the fact that the Technic team have no control over how fast the mods update. You also seem to miss the fact that your entire post was completely pointless, served no useful purpose and was basically you complaining about something you don't need without even learning why the cause for complaint even existed in the first place.

You may enjoy your own play style, but that in no way makes players with a different play style "bad players". If someone wants to check out a wide variety of mods without spending hours collecting the resources required to do so, that's their decision and it makes them no worse players than if they enjoyed spending hours collecting the resources to do everything. The fact that they don't want to doesn't mean that they can't or will. You shouldn't judge people as "bad players" just because they play a game as diverse as Minecraft in a different way to you. You may not enjoy this, but that has no effect on whether others do. Just because the play style is lost on you doesn't mean it's lost on everyone else.

I think there are less smaller modpacks because having less mods can be less interesting, so less people play packs with less mods because they enjoy variety and options. Trying to stick to a single theme can also be very constraining for the mods you can use, which can be frustrating when you can't use the mods I want.

So how exactly does this "fix" work? AFAIK the problem is generally caused by connection issues, although I could be wrong.

Just wait. Te majority of those messages will be for later versions of Monecraft which the pack will be unable to update to until every single mod in the pack has an update available for Minecraft 1.5.1. For some mods, this could take a while. Just ignore it, because any possible update will probably make it's way into the pack as soon as possible. There's very little you yourself can do without making your version of the pack incompatible without everyone else's, short of making a custom pack of your own (which won't be supported by other players and would require you manually updating the pack every time there's an update).

Tekkit Lite Server With Mo Creatures?
theprolo replied to gamesandjunk's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
No, if a mod adds blocks or mobs etc., it requires client side, otherwise the client just won't be able to comprehend what is actually going on in the server, and almost certainly wouldn't be able to see the mobs if you somehow did manage to connect without the mod (which is actually impossible). You need to add in mo' creatures, or almost any mod for that matter, client-side or not at all. -
Try using sandstone or stone bricks, as those are what the message is telling you to use. It doesn't mention clay bricks, so they may not work

I think it conflicts with one of the mods in the pack, possibly Light Level Overlay. Don't hold me to that one though - I'm not certain that's the correct mod.

The best solution would most likely be to replace your conductive pipes with Redstone Energy Conduits, which don't explode, and just feed power into them and connect said power to a quarry.

In more recent versions, when a turtle is full it just returns to where it started and barfs stuff onto the floor behind the start point. If there's an inventory, it puts stuff away. Then it carries on.

Didn't you know? Gaben can't count to three. They're still trying to work out another workaround to make a new Half Life without the number 3 in its name, which has led to massive delays Speaking of which, I'd go forward in time and get Half Life 2.1 when it does come out (assuming that it can go that far forward )

luke, he probably wouldn't just to spite you. That's how these things work, and they leave feeling self satisfied and superior because their huge victory against someone trolling them went just as planned for the troll.
-
Because the built in programs do that already? Assuming you're not using Tekkit Classic, of course. Then they only do basic stuff, no dropping off.

You don't have to change your own IP - if it's non-static it'll just change every now and then. I have a friend whose IP changes every time he disconnects from the internet (around once a week). I'm just here for the funeral sandwiches really.
-
It should do. Just put the chest behind it and it'll drop stuff off.

I'd give an atomic bomb to cavemen and see what happened...
-
You can't make it not pick up certain blocks, but you can make it drop them. Your second one is already covered by the "excavate" command built-in. If you want to make something similar, I recommend checking that program out and just modifying it.

I don't know first hand, it's just from the experiances of others. It spreads, and I think it can kind of overcome blocks or something. The last time I saw one was the middle of an ocean, and there was a rather large crater in the water.

It's from the mod Dimensional Doors. Use a Rift Sealer to get rid of it, because it can eat your world.

It would be pretty awesome if you could include the MPS addon at some point - the kinetic generators and extra recipes are pretty useful. EDIT: speaking of which, MPS stuff is refusing to charge with IC2 power. It works with UE power, but the crafting is either banned or the IDs are mismatched for UE stuff x-x It might also be worth doing a full update of every mod in the pack, because a few of them seem to be acting weird.
