  1. Thermal Expansion will be including a charger. You'll need to use that.

  4. Does it do coloured wires yet, though? We're talking Bundled Cable kind of thing here, not just redstone wire. I don't think you can by the way, Lawrence. Try using Mystcraft linking books and possibly portals instead.

  6. There won't be reactors, but this part is completely wrong. MFR recently added Rednet, which has basically the same functionality. The new update is actually losing very little in terms of actual content - just power generations, UU matter and frames really. The rest is replaced and, quite honestly, Ic2 has been outdated and outmatched for a long time now. Thermal Expansion does pretty much the same thing, and is superior in many ways.

  8. By the way Luke, can you just check that Ue really is working fine? I still can't seem to craft enriched alloy or whatever it's called when you surround a piece of iron with redstone.
  9. When removing mods, there'll always be things that you miss from them. However, I think the new additions to the pack will more than make up for anything we've lost. Even redwire is replaced now, I think. Pretty amazing stuff in the new mods, and new stuff in the old ones. All in all, the future's looking bright.
  10. Universal Charger? TE is meant to be including an item charger soon too - that may have been implemented already.
  11. This section is for requesting mods, not modpacks. Basically, it's a place for ideas of mods themselves, not the packs they go in.
  12. This is for mod requests, not modpack requests. Post in the modpack request thread in the Platform Pagoda. Make sure you use the right format there too, otherwise you'll lose your chance to have your pack created.

  14. Yeah, not everything is replaced from IC2, but quite honestly I only really used the power generation and armour from it. It did have some nice options for power generation though - I can't see TE overtaking it in that. MPS outclasses Ic2 armour as well, in my opinion. Other than those things though, I don't really feel that the loss of IC2 is the loss of much anymore. It would be nice if more power generation was added from something, but I'm not holding my breath. BC and TE seem happy with what they have, and appear to be focusing on stuff to use that power on, which is fine by me.
  15. I think it's looking pretty good. I can see it slipping away from what were once the cornerstones of not just Tekkit but modding itself, and moving towards newer, sometimes smaller but in so many ways better mods, and while I know there'll be hordes of people complaining, I personally love it! I'm not too bothered about the removal of IC2, since TE replaced and outclassed it a long time ago, but I might miss Redpower - I'm not sure what there is to replace them other than Buildcraft pipes (can AE do that stuff?). Either way, it's looking great and I'm loving the mod selection. This feels like a whole new era for Tekkit, and I have a feeling it's going to be an awesome one.
  16. No need, he already told us Transport pipes are from Buildcraft, while Filters are from Redpower. They're different mods and don't work together. If you want to use Filters you need Tubes, and if you want to use transport pipes you need wooden pipes and engines.

  19. Look through NEI, find something you don't know what does, and make it. Just hope that it's not too expensive Also, make a sewage farm. Just because sewage is awesome.
  20. Make sure they're on the right side, the condenser isn't full and the power actually reaches them.
  21. Two thirds of that are currently impossible, at least if Big Dig is to keep its 100% permissions. The maker of Thaumcraft 3 has decided (for the time being, at least - may change in future) that the only packs with permission are FTB packs. Optifine is blanket disallowed for any packs, and unlikely to change. The Metallurgy might be possible though - I'm fairly sure it works with the pack.
  22. The /back command works to where you died, but only in the overworld.
  23. Can't get onto the server to remove it at the moment. Could you just refund me the quarry, relay, liquid research, item tesseract and 2 magmatic engines, or perhaps just remove them please (they're at the top of a hill near the entrance, just look for the one containing what I said)
  24. The main effort would be working out how to create world gen structures, then making a system to connect them up. It seems like a lot, but once you have the rooms and the way to generate them together set up it shouldn't be hard. I have no idea how hard that is to do though
