  1. You're trying to give the server more RAM than you have. Edit the launch.bat and change "java -Xmx3G -Xms1G" or whatever the numbers are on yours to "java -Xmx1.5G -Xms1G".
  2. You need to add Java to your system path. Google it.
  3. The modpack.jar is in the bin folder.
  4. Awesome! Add blinking eyes and sparkles.
  5. They don't automatically take stuff out. You need to use a wooden pipe and a redstone engine to pump stuff out of chests into pipes.
  6. Try using Covers instead of panels.
  7. Did you put it into the modpack.jar or the minecraft.jar? It needs to go into the modpack.jar.
  8. Looks like something's screwed up and made Redpower spawn Volcanoes in the Nether. Try deleting the Nether dimension (I think it's DIM-1).
  9. The best solution to both problems is just to keep exploring. Make a Mystcraft linking book to get you home when you've found one, and perhaps another linking book to get you back to your village/extreme hills biome whenever you want.
  10. Removing the world shouldn't have any effect on it. Crynon's fix might work though, I'm sure I've seen cases with similar problems fixed by that.
  11. I think Thermal Expansion is the mod which generates Copper, Tin, Lead, Silver and Nickle in Tekkit. The ore generation settings appear to be this: I:Ore.Copper.ClusterSize=8 I:Ore.Copper.MaxY=75 I:Ore.Copper.MinY=40 I:Ore.Copper.NumClusters=10 I:Ore.Lead.ClusterSize=8 I:Ore.Lead.MaxY=35 I:Ore.Lead.MinY=10 I:Ore.Lead.NumClusters=4 I:Ore.Nickel.ClusterSize=4 I:Ore.Nickel.MaxY=20 I:Ore.Nickel.MinY=5 I:Ore.Nickel.NumClusters=2 I:Ore.Silver.ClusterSize=8 I:Ore.Silver.MaxY=30 I:Ore.Silver.MinY=5 I:Ore.Silver.NumClusters=3 I:Ore.Tin.ClusterSize=8 I:Ore.Tin.MaxY=55 I:Ore.Tin.MinY=20 I:Ore.Tin.NumClusters=7 You'll only want the MinY and MaxY parts, but the rest is good to know anyway
  12. Either the IDs are mismatched or the server isn't a Tekkit server. Either way, redownload it.
  13. Probably not anymore - it seems to be more of a Nostalgia thing now (as well as still being very popular). If you want updates, head over to the new Tekkit and install MCPC+ or another Bukkit port. Don't complain that it "doesn't have the mods you love", by the way - any Tekkit Classic updates would likely be the new Tekkit with Bukkit support. EE2 doesn't exist anymore (at least not in an updated form), and the mods which were removed were removed for a reason.
  14. You want Tekkit Classic for Minecraft 1.2.5.
  15. Or you could just update, because the Technic team already did that for you.
  16. Reload the launcher and update.
  17. Reload the launcher. Then you'll be able to update and it'll work.
  18. Update Tekkit to 1.0.2.
  19. Just download version 1.0.2, it's fixed.
  20. The problem is that Thermal Expansion is in the Coremods folder. It'll be fixed momentarily. Feel free to move Thermal Expansion from the Coremods folder into the Mods folder if you're impatient guys.
  21. It's just something to do with it being in coremods apparently. Should be fixed soon.
  22. Just be patient. The Technic team are working on it.
  23. No.It might require Buildcraft though.
  24. I think we can safely consider this achieved.
  25. New Tekkit. http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit 15 mins!
