  1. Use Advanced Insertion pipes, and perhaps Hoppers.
  2. The mod was pulled at the last minute due to a crippling bug. Greg's Lighting should make a comeback in the near future, once it's been fixed.
  3. A wooden pipe and redstone engine works. I'm not sure if there's an AE alternative, but the Buildcraft method I mentioned should be good enough.
  4. You said to start out, so I told you how to do it starting out. Feel free to make a huge pumping station straight away, if you have the resources nothing's stopping you. I'd recommend Tesseracts or Ender Tanks instead of Ender Chests, since that's easier. Also, how does making a pumping station involve flying? I've never needed to fly to make one before.
  5. Why does that require flying? Use a bucket... Or if you're feeling lazy, a pump with a tank on top will allow you to just refill from the tank. You shouldn't need more than redstone engines to power that.
  6. Don't attach engines to eachother - that's how they explode. Attach the engines to conductive pipes (Make sure the machine can use all that you're giving it though - if the power can't go in it'll sit in the conductive pipe and eventually blow it up), or the safer option, connect them directly to the machine. NEVER connect them to eachother, even redstone engines will blow up from that.
  7. Magmatic engines. There are also steam engines.
  8. Pumps can act weird when chunk loaded - especially when powered by something more than a redstone engine. Something to do with the water source blocks not reappearing in time, I think. Either way, the AA is generally a better option.
  9. Awesome. Just awesome.
  10. It's the Energetic Infuser.
  11. Even better, replace the pump with an aqueus accumulator. No engines required, fast if used right, and auto outputting Also never randomly exhausts the water pool.
  12. There's plenty of other types of engines. Look them up in NEI.
  13. Are you using Redstone Engines? They can't output power into pipes. Engines also need to output into wooden conductive pipes.
  14. Check out the server forum: http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/tekkit-servers.87/
  15. Tekkit is for Minecraft 1.5.1. If it's a 1.5.2 server then it's not Tekkit.
  16. If it's a 1.5.2 server, connect to it with normal Minecraft. You want to connect to a Tekkit server with Tekkit, not any old server.
  17. They need something to power. Try providing screenshots, that might make it more obvious.
  18. No it doesn't. Just place it down underground, power it, and it'll clear the space itself.
  19. Or just put it underground. It makes a nice area for an underground base, and the effects are invisible from above.
  20. Nope. Leave it, just put stuff into the modpack.jar - don't take anything out.
  21. Nether portals only really work in the Overworld and the Nether itself.
  22. Making huge storage tanks full of glowing lava, awesome looking animated engines and glistening red cables connecting everything, going into a huge array of Energy Cells seems pretty awesome to me.
  23. No it doesn't. They removed IC2. What do you actually need a "high energy reactor" for anymore?
  24. AWESOMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!![insert several lines of !s with 1s dotted at random intervals]
