As was stated, contributing to the stickied bug list makes much more sense.

What the unholy hell is going on in this thread? I am legit confused. What does this have to do with the launcher? Why are there server folders in javas? What is going on?!

Server - Internal server error on item spawning
KakerMix replied to SimonsPure's question in Tekkit Classic
Its a bug with NEI and creative mode. Don't touch your center creative window, or item bar on the bottom. Touching those in creative will crash you. Always. -
does the technic pack launcher install all the mods?
KakerMix replied to Daylightbeast's question in Technic Launcher
Right now it installs all of them, then you turn what ones you don't want off with the 'Mod Options' button. -
Advantages of using technic launcher for vanilla?
KakerMix replied to DemonCrusher36's topic in Cafe Lame
Just some minor things like ram allocation. Otherwise it is there so if people want to use the launcher for Vanilla they can. It doesn't put any extra strain on us since you get the Minecraft files from minecraft.net so we put it in. Also Cheapshot drew the sweet button. -
You don't use Technic, you use Tekkit. Click the upper left on the launcher, the fat button that says "Technic". Click on that, select "Tekkit"

COMPLAINT ABOUT POWER ABUSE
KakerMix replied to jecob1234567890's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Hi. This kind of post isn't going to fly here. You post in the server's thread directly. Keep in mind we don't have any official servers, we don't police servers, and we don't enforce any server's rules. -
Do you not make a descriptive thread title? Is it trendy and super-cool or am I missing something? Anyway, by default with Technic and Tekkit you will only ever get 1 type of tin and 1 type of copper. We always turn RedPower and Forestry's copper and tin off, so there should only be one generating in the wild. This is IC2's version. If you are getting multiple tins and coppers spawning in your world then I'm thinking your configs for Forestry and RedPower got wiped. Go in them and check to see if they are generating copper and tin. I just verified and both the server and client of tekkit is set up for only IC2 tin and copper, and Technic is set the same. So, uh, check your RedPower and Forestry configs.

Ahhh my mistake. If I weren't an admin I would have just got a pink name for that. My bad, and I apologize. So we move on to the next thing, and that is starting on a 100% clean, new folder. Nothing left over. Nothing at all. For some reason you have it looking at an old forge. The thing is, there isn't an old forge version in the server file, so you must be running an old one. There is simply no other explanation, since if it was broken it would break and give you a nasty NPE or something, not a message telling you its old. You know?

My launcher only opens in offline mode.
KakerMix replied to Lintrezza's question in Technic Launcher
omfg u wine liek a bitch!11 Seriously though, we are aware of this issue. As of right now there isn't a fix, but Agelian is ON IT. He says things to me like "ill look into it as it may be a bug with multiple logins" and "i think i'll add a g diffuser" and "you know we might need another server" and "we just burned 120 gigs today" And then I cry. :( -
We always also update the main download pages with the updated .jars as well.

[SOLVED] Upgrading from Tekkit 1.2.0 Chunk crash
KakerMix replied to ppingos's question in Tekkit Classic
Re: Upgrading from Tekkit 1.2.0 Chunk crash Tekkit 1.2 was never officially released, and as such isn't supported. We officially went from 1.1.4 to 2.0. -
I wouldn't be 100% sure. Development on Advanced Machines seems to have stalled, and there are mutliple bugs with the vanilla SMP version. I'd rather have it as well, but I would keep in mind they might not be coming back.
