Isn't that link a bit weird? Can't check, they blocked port 8080 where I am.

Tungsten is going to be very valuable in the future, you should hold on to it. Eloraam just added it in early so you don't have to make a new world or find new chunks to use X feature or Y machine.

I tried FTB, and the packs which weren't exactly like Technic were the packs which had GregTech. And GregTech basically adds complexity and tedium for the sake of complexity, not because it would be fun. Most people call it "Difficult", but I call it "tedious". Especially when you have to do 5000 different things and wait 50 seconds for a small chance of a byproduct you really, really need. And half the modpacks don't even work. Their response to that is "Oh yeah, that's obviously deprecated dude" as if there's some huge warning sign I didn't see. I can definitely see why people like FTB, but I'll just stick to Technic. At least then I can actually enjoy IC2.

Add it yourself. If you want to play with friends, make custom zips and distribute among friends.

Exactly. RedPower doesn't even touch UE, which is why it's not included. It has its own energy system.

Is it really necessary to clear all the water out? Quarries operate just fine in water.

Go to the Java control panel and disable your 32-bit versions. Better yet, just uninstall your 32 bit versions entirely. No point in having them.

Yup, that worked for me. What usually happens is that the username field is blank and the password field has a lot of characters already filld in. Just a corrupt lastlogin.

The Batbox probably has the dot on top. The dot is the output. Try using the Wrench made of Bronze to rotate the dot. Also, you need to use either Ultra Low-Current Cable or move the other solar panels closer, or the EU loss in that Copper Cable will make the 1 EU disappear completely.

Logistic provider pipes fail to provide RE battery
Teraku replied to Happymyself's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
Well maybe we could if you gave some more details. If I remember correctly, the Logistics Pipes have to be powered in some way. Did you do that? -
It's not added because RedPower doesn't support UE, which is what Voltz is based on.

IVE GOT THE SOLUTON!! You need to delet .miceraft and downlaod also get a better virus scanner i recomended macafee cuz it really good hope i helped!!!

Oh, okay. Well then, I'm pretty sure I saw IC2 tin somewhere, so I'll post back here once I get some.

The energy links in 0.5.3 aren't fancy or new, they've been around since Classic. They just took a short vacation. You could still add them in manually, though. And no, Energy Links have to output to a Wooden Conductive Pipe, and then it must pass through a Golden Conductive Pipe or it won't enter the Phased Pipe AFAIK.

The assigned ID for the IC2 tin is 254:4. I can convert it to Thermal Expansion tin by using a Forge Lexicon, and I can also take Thermal Expansion Tin and turn it into IC2 tin. Yet turning on IC2 Tin generation causes immediate block ID conflicts.

What the hell are you smoking? Solar Panels give 1 EU/t each. LV Arrays are 8 EU/t, not 32. MV Arrays are 64 EU/t. HV Arrays are 512 EU/t. And Compact Solars exist to simplify things and to take huge loads off the server. 512 Solar Panels all generating 1 EU/t, all flowing through cables and repeaters would be MUCH more laggy than 1 Array generating 512 EU/t.

Condenser isn't going to be added, it was too easy. Transmutation will return in the future, but how it will return hasn't been disclosed yet.

Your firewall or antivirus is blocking connection. Turn it off or add an exception for Technic Launcher.

Exporting/Importing blocks, structures and items
Teraku replied to krazydude's topic in Tekkit Lite Discussion
Depends. In most minor updates, people carry on as usual. But for some larger updates, people use mIDas gold to convert certain item ID's into others. Or they start over. Also, when trying the Ender Chest method, make sure you copy over the actual EnderStorage folder in Windows from the old to the new world. Not use MCEdit or WorldEdit to copy the Ender Chests over. The fact that items are stored independently from the world itself is what makes the Ender Chest method work. So treat it as independent from the world, and just copy the EnderStorage folder over. -
Oh, you mean there's ID conflicts. I thought you meant cross-compatibility. In any case, it's weird that the ID's don't change. IC2 has Tesla Coils which aren't OP, by the way. I prefer them.

MCEdit doesn't work with the Forge 4096 ID fix. You'll have to wait until it does or just cheat the items in. You could deconstruct your base, put everything in Ender Chests and copy the Ender Chest data over from your old world to your new world. Perhaps you can even use a BuildCraft Architect Table to copy your base, put the Blueprint in an Ender Chest and copy the Enderstorage data over from your old to your new world. You can then put the Blueprint in a Builder and it will start building once supplied with power. -
If it stays stuck in the first conductive pipe, then it has nowhere to go. Verify that the refinery can actually receive the energy.
-
Using Redstone Energy Cells and Energy Conduits instead of Conductive Pipes will save you a lot of headache. The cell can be put directly next to the quarry and it will output MJ automatically. You can attach engines to the energy cell if you wish.

Try redownloading the ComputerCraft zip, it seems like the pre-installed programs are corrupted or something.
