A good site if you need it. http://xpaw.ru/mcstatus/

According to this dictionary it means both. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bi- edit: man, i hate it when that happens, somehow i managed to post before noticing there was a whole third page to this thread.
-
Like this. edit: ninja'd, that one works fine, this is just a bit simpler
-
Well, I thought I was right, so i just checked the first result. Apparently, the prefix bi means both two AND twice. Most people seem to advise avoiding it because of the confusion. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/bi- edit: yes I'm from the us. Curious, where did you read that?
-
I looked it up, bi-weekly is once every 2 weeks. semi-weekly is twice a week.

Unfortunately, no. I think this is one of the biggest lacks of redpower, but that's what it is. The work around is to make a system with block breakers and deployers to deploy and break the tubes. But it always takes up more space than it should. Let me know if you need help designing such a system.

Please tell me how to remove Optifine from Tekkit
Watchful11 replied to wastipk's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
This is a common problem I see. A person says something isn't working, but think they know what will make it work. However, they are unable to do that thing, so they ask for help. I doubt removing optifine is what you want to do. What is the actual problem? And where exactly did you make "twelfty different threadson"? If you have a problem with tekkit, you should post here first, with a proper error log. Optifine is a core mod, its not all the simple to remove. -
TNT carts! oh, wait

Kinda agree. I don't think he meant it to be released, I was just saying that in response to, "Buildcraft development for 1.2 was abandoned at a very early stage." And what kind of sauce would you put on a hat anyway?
-
Um, not really? The pahicraft server had a mostly working version of BC3.

I'm so tough I punched down a thousand trees... with my fists!

For people reading this thread. It is clearly stated in the rules, do not ask for eta's. We get a new thread each day asking for one. Maybe this post will prevent tomorrows new thread.

Signed your post. Wrong section. No details. Try again. -
um, torches? just keep it lit and enclosed. If you want to be expensive, use EE interdiction torches.

I heard that each time someone asks when it will come out, the release is pushed back 48 hours.

All_Star_Gamer_x's [HELP THREAD] [OPEN]
Watchful11 replied to All_Star_Gamer_x's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Um, this is exactly what the server swap shop forum is for. If you're keen to answer questions go look for some over there. -
Unless he has the exact same error and this fix is not working for him, he should post a bug report in the bug forum.
-
Did you by any chance have exactly the same error as the one above?

Tekkit Server White Chat And Formating Problem
Watchful11 replied to itzaname's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
First thing i can think of is that this might happen if you have badly formed permissions files. Like ampayne2 said, try pasting those. -
Server security, repair hacker damage/greifer damage
Watchful11 replied to minecraftwithdavid's topic in Modders Metropolis
Just reading this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This person claims to have written a program that can, Keep track of block changes on a server, and roll them back in a radius. This in itself can be done with several plugins. But he claims to do it just be running his file, no instructions to install it as a plugin. Also, any program that tracked that data could surely do more with it than revert an area by 30 seconds. And how is that supposed to help anyway? He also seems to suggest this can be done from the client side, since he doesn't mention anything about running it on a the server, just your computer. It also can detect it someone is "if someone might be hacking your server". Also client side. It can then modify your ban list to ban them. Then it somehow sends a very powerful "data bomb" to wreck their computer. While also opening a large quantity of hardcore porn. This program simultaneously "doubles as a runescape hacker-prevention". Which has absolutely nothing to do with preventing griefing on a minecraft server. This also requires it to be installed on your computer, not your minecraft server. He says, with bad spelling and grammer, that he wrote this program, while his only other post on these forums is that he apparently can't install java. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/server-starting-issue.20696/ I have no idea what that download is, but I am confident isn't anything good. After this rant I feel somewhat safe in asking that his links be taken down. -
New version of IndustrialCraft 2 available
Watchful11 replied to Bamito's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
But best guess is, at least a few weeks, up to several months at worst. -
Interesting thing that, I hadn't heard of it till just recently too. Enjoy http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=3959

Hmm, but could this be considered thread jacking? Also, I never understood people's fascination with a "good" seed. Every single seed has all these things. Maybe they don't spawn you on an island, but a bit of wandering will find that. There are "good" seeds out there, mostly ones with interesting large land formations that make an interesting dynmap of a server. But no one cares about that. They just want "7 diamonds and lots of ores in a cave!." Ok, end rant, just my opinion, people can do what they want.

I was considering that. I'll look into it.
