First check here: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/common-problems-and-solutions.10851/ Most answers can be found there. Troubleshoot: Make sure your anti-virus and firewalls are disabled while trying to connect to minecraft.net (while logging in, connecting to a server) Uninstall Java, then delete your .techniclauncher folder. Restart your computer (it's not required, but it never hurts to give it a break) Reinstall the correct version of Java for your computer (ensure the bit type matches) Redownload the Launcher. Try to run the .exe, if this does not work, look in your .techniclauncher folder, make sure you have a .jar file in there. If you do not, and the .exe doesn't work, do this: I am getting a “Technic Launcher has Stopped Working Error”! If your launcher is encountering this error, a solution is to download the .jar file from http://www.technicpack.net/download/ (pick the third from the left (Linux/Jar)). If you are using Internet Explorer you will also need to change the file extension (the ending of the file) to .jar instead of .zip. Once you’ve done that, all you need to do is double-click on the file to run the launcher. If double click doesn't work with the .jar: Right click on the .jar file, open with Java. If none of those work, try running as administrator.

I have a pre-prepared response to bug reports. 80% of them can be fixed with it. Since all it is is a "how to".

I try to join a server in Tekkit, and it crashes
Ashzification replied to Kaesnoww's question in Technic Launcher
Don't try to download this to a school computer. There is your problem and solution. Also, this isn't a launcher bug. You are beyond the Mojang screen if you are trying to join a server. Do your schoolwork. -
I took all of my info from the CP&S. I only added the actual steps to trouble shooting. Since no one seems to know how....
-
Um, nope. I just plain stole your cop/paste and put it in my bigger copy/paste. Simply because I was too lazy to write my own, since you so willingly provided the proper information-I stole it.

Wont let me open my Launcher.

OP, stop yelling. I don't have the patience for that tonight. Ampayne, way to steal my entire copy/paste...

The Technic Forums Thread Rail Discussion Thread
Ashzification replied to Prowbarrerzet's topic in Off Topic Discussion
I don't particularly care what cheese is made of, it is delicious. (and by the way, my list of coping food got exponentially larger tonight) -
Well we still appreciate those few posts you make And, if we (as I am assuming Jorcer agrees) overstep our boundaries, be sure to let us know ;)

You said "just for laughs" I was expecting something along the lines of this:
-
To be honest, the only reason I started posting pictures of myself was to get my actual stalker to come out of the woodwork to get him arrested. He was found out, but he never got arrested. His girlfriend did all the punishing needed.
-
I was referenced. Should I be honored or appalled?
-
I need people to tell me I am smart and can pass my NCLEX tomorrow. Right now, I do not feel like I can.
-
First thing in my solution was go to the common problems and solutions thread. I even linked it. There you will find out how.

Hopefully he got it working between then and now.
