I think you're generalizing a bit. We're actually pretty choosy on which mods we want in. If you honestly think we just want to cram as many in as we can without caring, you haven't seen the plus packs before then. Ours are pretty reserved compared to many out there. Overall gameplay quality over quantity or popularity.

The glider does function while the jetpack is on unless something has changed. And the boots have the option of absorbing fall damage.

Your issue seems to be evolving. This is going to turn into a lot of people wildly guessing at your issue pretty fast. You need to provide more information. A lot more. I have no idea what that error means. Here is my wild guess. She is trying to connect to a sever that you are playing on (is this right?) and it is saying that she is missing certain mods. (not modpacks?) In which case she is trying to connect with the wrong pack, or wrong version of the pack, or both. She needs to update to the new launcher, and select the pack you have selected. She can get the new launcher at www.technicpack.net. The old launcher is no longer supported. If she IS using the new launcher, then its just a matter of making sure you both have the same pack selected.

Well their market share value has gone down 50% since Fall, 40% of that was since the start of this year. If they don't get their shit together soon they're done for. And I'd prefer they get their shit together because game companies aren't just execs, they are thousands of hard working staff that get fucked over and fired constantly.

It's very very nice and runs a lot better. Only work you'll have to do is to copy and paste your saves over to the new directory (.technic by default, but you can change it now) if you don't want to start fresh.
