Ditto Gennah. PvP mechanics in MC are ridiculously easy, basic, and bad. Just spam click until either of you die. Get better armor, a better sword, and that's pretty much it.

I think the sword does more damage than your fists. Also, the bow only works if you have arrows. And remember that if you lose all your hearts, you die.

Uh... No? Most good servers do have CC, the ones I know of at least. And this doesn't make it any less of a great mod, even though I didn't know it could bypass protections.

Are you actually arguing that Greg's decision make sense? Following this fucked up absence of logic, the Technic team would have to ask permission for every mod that could possibly be installed along with the pack by a user. That's purely idiotic and useless. It's a simple act of anger on the modder's part.

Bottom line is, Greg hates Technic for some reason (Hint : Might include bandwaggonning), and he likes to make the life of Technic players miserable because of that. This is pretty sad, but nothing can be done about it.

Going in MCF makes me feel like that, a lot. But if I really want to be depressed, I go on the BTW forums. ;D Thanks to Technic for giving us a sane place to talk about our virtual lego game.

Hey, due to school, I don't have much time to come and play a lot around now. I ought to come during the holidays, but modded Skyrim took all my attention, sorry for that. What do you like about this server: I know (Internet know, that is) many people playing on this server, including the admin, which guarantees me he isn't a dickpickle (A pickle of dicks). I've also survived through some rough times with this server, and I know I can rest assured that the griefer ratio is amazingly low. Finally I love that YOU CAN B A DICK AND ITZ KEWL the server was able to find a balance where there is player-organized PvP and yet everything doesn't fall down to being a shitstorm. Why do you want to join this server: Why wouldn't I want to? Popular, great community, free, and andrew even got ourselves a custom pack! What could we ask for more? Plus, I know from experience that thanks to Andrew's dad awesome servers, this place is amazingly lag free, even under the most extreme ((e.g. NUKES EVERYWHERE (Ahh, memories)) conditions. Why should we let you join this server: Everyone wants a blobfish in their server! Plus, my relative well-known makes that if I start being griefing dickbag (A bag of dicks) my forum reputation might be injured. Not as if I'm a dongbag (A bag of dongs) anyway, but that's a kind of insurance. What is your greatest achievement in tekkit: I think this will speak by itself. I've also made a few factories, and I've thought out a teleporting system for lapotrons crystal all by myself. I guess I could mention I've made a few giant forcefield-based nuclear reactors centers, but that would just be me being immodest.

Well, because the modders WANT their mod to be used by the server operators. They want to get recognition. The money aspect really is but an excuse, in many cases. The thing, some feel that packs remove from them some of this recognition, even though I don't think it is the case.

Well, once you have the 9x9 upgrade, they give you quite a rest for a while. I do agree on the long term, you'll prefer to have made a 64x64 quarry, but I prefer them for the first tiers.
