It's always right? Huh. So cute lesbians eat vomit covered shit while making out? Good god what have lesbians come to?
  2. The thing that could be stopping it is if the table after that has no room on the red shaded inventory, it will not sent it because there is no room for it to go.

Did anyone else imagine Professor Farnsworth saying this or is it just me? Also, the internet is wrong.
  4. I haven't tested to see if filters or retrievers can determine if a crystal is full or empty. I would imagine if ti worked with the RE batteries it would work with the crystals as they also have a full and empty item id. So there should be no problem there. Lava cells are another thing and it all boils down to whether or not you have EE. If you do, then the whole thing is pointless as lava cells have an EMC value. Hook it up to a condenser/collector and you'll have yourself some lava for life. If you don't, then it gets trickier because you now have to set up a rig not only to make the cells, but send them to the nether. Although you -could- mine the nether for nether tin, it still has to be refined down to tin ore, macerated into tin dust, then smelted into tin ingots for maximum yield. So as you can see, lava cells either make life a whole lot simpler, or a whole lot harder.

Because you didn't look into the WHY this is an issue. Do your research and make an effort to understand why people are hating on you. Also, don't double post. That makes you look like a douche.
  6. fuck. I keep forgetting it's going to be FtP. So, you'll see me there, provided the TR process my request for the Marauder.
  7. It might help some, but my machine is probably about the same age as yours. I built mine and I still get stuttering and freezes on tekkit, although that generally occurs when I'm the only one on and every mob on the server has spawned in the second floor of my factory (unfinished, dark, and usually has a party 24/7). You will want to make use of panelling. That will prevent pipes attaching to one another, which gives you the ability to make very compact machinery. Also you will need to make sure tubes are going in where they're supposed to, so materials are placed in the right slot.
  8. There are a few reasons. The biggest one is that they're just coded better. They can handle two way traffic, they don't drop items when there is a traffic jam to the destination, usually redpower machines don't even allow items in a tube to begin with if the destination is full. I personally have an old computer and so I notice things like client lag when I used buildcraft. I switched to redpower and I haven't noticed that at all. Also the redpower tubes aren't -that- expensive. We're talking about brass, which is just the same recipe as bronze, only you're smelting the ingots in an alloy furnace instead of combining dust in a table and then smelting it. You'll see. Once you start using redpower items, you'll wonder why you ever bothered with buildcraft. Don't get me wrong, I think buildcraft is a -great- way to introduce yourself to engineering in minecraft. That's how I began to learn how machines worked and it got me thinking to that level, then I started exploring the redpower stuff and I realized how much more powerful redpower overall is to buildcraft. It's more solid, refined, and much more thought out. I thought Eloraam was one smart cookie before with integrated redstone. But now I'm just blown away by her ability to take an idea and improve on it, refine it, and successfully apply it. @Darth: Not everyone sees the slowdown from buildcraft. If I ran BC alone I get no lag and things work fine. It's just when you add all the other wonders of technic/tekkit and really test your system that the flaws of buildcraft show up. Also redpower tubes don't necessarily work with everything. The one flaw of redpower is the lack of an auto crafting table, but there is one that does work with redpower in tekkit, so that issue is resolved.
  9. No they don't. Your best bet is to utilize redpower and netherchests. You'll want to set up a geothermal power center in the nether and have that hook into an MFSU preferably. From there you can use redpower to have lapitron crystals cycled to and from the MFSU to charge then to an enderchest. On the overworld, you will have an enderchest and another redpower setup doing the same thing, except with the purpose of storing that power in the MFSU instead of drawing it.
  10. Diamonds aren't an issue once you've got a compressor and a macerator, both which are easy to make without diamonds. You just need a decent amount of coal and some obsidian and they're both common and easy to acquire. So glass fibre cable is not as unreachable as you think. I use it primarily as a main source of cabling because of how great it is to transfer any current over long distances.
  11. There are a few ways to do this. The first way, the one I would choose, would be to create some substations between your reactor and where your sending the current. Remember, these cables all have losses at some point as pointed out above. So let's say that your reactor is only putting out enough to require a glass fibre cable. So about 39-40 stretches throw in an MFSU. This will allow you to not only transmit current without loss, but also create sort of a backup in the event your reactor shuts off for whatever reason. The other is to do what was suggested above and use the MFSU cart to carry power by rail. This isn't hard to set up, but the problem is that it is a moving object and with any moving object there is always the issue of malfunction. Something could land on the rails stopping the cart or what have you. I'm working on a power plant myself and have already planned to transmit energy from it outwards by way of sending an HV current to a massive MFSU junction to power my island's luminators and other various EU drinking machines. This current is going to be reduced to an MV current and transmitted by way of various MFE's and glass fibre cables. This allows me to spiderweb power all across my island without any loss.
  12. Think beyond forestry. Power Converters, which have been in Tekkit for awhile, will allow the transfer to EU to MJ along with a variety of other things you can convert. Do the research.
  13. Just because the kids are smoking crack doesn't mean you should smoke the crack. Also, if you're adding things to minecraft.jar then that might be the issue. I believe that if you're looking to add mods, you want to add them to the modpack.jar. But seriously. If it isn't in Tekkit, then chances are it's not going to work, work well, or break something else. The technic guys are pretty good at releasing bug free things for a reason. They know the limits. If they can get it to work, then expect it in the next episode of Tekkit: They're just better than you.
  14. Outstanding! Thanks! I look forward to seeing your build grow.
  15. Well my thought is that you can probably really pull the maximum amount of EU from the uranium cells and even find a way to have the depleted cells removed from the reactor and run through an re-enrichment process, and thrown into a buffer with other uranium/re-enriched uranium cells. Oh, also meant to ask... how'd you get the big awesome screen? I'm not familiar with it.
  16. Ok, first of all you will figure out the nuclear thing. I have 100% confidence that you will not only figure it out, but you'll really tie in your knowledge of computercraft coding to make one hell of a nuclear reactor. Seriously. I don't give mad props often, so, I hope you understand how impressed I am with your ingenuity. I was thinking about what someone said about what would happen if you had all 8 ores? Well, I was thinking that with a little tweaking with your macerators, you could use diamond piping to funnel particular ore types to certain macerator groups, to avoid any jamming of more ores than it can handle. It would also allow you to automate your quarry's output without having to worry. Again though, I seriously HATE how awesome you are.
  17. Great. Now when you say it vanishes, does it just pop out onto the floor, or just up and completely disappears? I'm wondering if sticking a chest next to it might give it a place to go. I know it's a stupid longshot and it's probably more a matter of bug in the coding when dealing with bottles (most likely due to Mojang code), but worth a try to get your machine working.
  18. Ok listen up Blackplague. Well done. I am seriously impressed. The computer alone is really amazing and I hope you know that. I don't know how to even attempt what you did. Sure I could download the whatever and hump the whoozit and try to impregnate the whatchamicallit, but that would only result in a gooey mess and not what you've done here. So, take some pride in this and enjoy that medal. It's well earned. From here on out I will look at my factory with absolute contempt and hate, and you're to blame for that. My drink is raised to you sir.
  19. Yeah, I wasn't trying to start shit. Sorry if it was perceived as such, I was just messing around. If I wanted to make a case that RP > BC I would actually provide statements of fact. As I determined earlier, it's BC. If it were a Coal Coke specific issue, it wouldn't work in anything. But if it's working in Vanilla items and Railcraft items, but not working in buildcraft items, it's a pretty narrow troubleshoot. On another note, thanks for reminding me how effortless it is to push buttons. I truly appreciate it.
  20. Could be a number of reasons for this. 1. Your server host disabled the recipe and is forcing you to buy them. 2. Your server host used the /reload command, breaking all mod crafting recipes. 3. You're doing it wrong 4. Drugs. 5. Rocks. 6. Fruit Snacks are laced with PCP and you're really curled up in an alley somewhere making sweet love to an alley cat.
  21. So it sounds like a buildcraft incompatibility. Well, it's for the best. Buildcraft is quickly being antiquated with all the improvements to redpower anyway. You should just bite the bullet and drop it altogether and convert to redpower and all its glory.
  22. Not concerned about vanilla coal. I am curious to see if coal coke works in anything. If it works in Railcraft and not in vanilla ovens, then it's a railcraft specific fuel. EE did something similar to this with EE2, which is what is in Technic/Tekkit right now. It used to be that all the fuel you could craft via EE could be used in anything. If it works in vanilla ovens as well as the tunnel bore, then it could be a specific incompatibility with buildcraft.
  23. I would imagine he has, given that he's able to get it to run in SSP. I have yet to make an oven to produce the stuff myself for the tunnel bore I also haven't built. I've been so consumed with redpower machinery.
  24. It's there. I had to remove it last time Tekkit updated. Best way to get rid of it is to just go into the mods folder and remove it. You're going to want to get rid of the invtweaks file. That'll make the mod inoperable and it won't load.
  25. Does it work in anything else? Like the Tunnel Bore or anything vanilla minecraft like the oven? It's possible that it might just not work in buildcraft stuff.
