That makes sense Cheap. NC need that other 50% to talk, otherwise their voices are muffled.

This already gives away that you didn't look very hard at all. You looked in one place. Great, good for you. If that didn't work, maybe try searching around for similar posts to your problems as Freak suggested. What you don't do, is continue to bitch and moan because you aren't getting your answer handed to you on a silver platter. That doesn't happen. You want help, make an effort. Your posts are consistent with someone who makes zero effort. So all you're going to get is constant mocking, finger pointing, and accusations that you're wanting someone to help you circumvent the system to make a pirated version of the game function with the launcher. Make an effort in your posts, both with how you present the data, and the detail in which you present said data. Show us you can do that and maybe, just maybe, we might be able to help. Otherwise, get bent.

Exactly. Give the NC some balls to protect.

There should be. The server I play on has Essentials, but I wouldn't know where to point you since I'm not hosting the server. So, it is out there I just don't know where.

Congratulations. You won the game already. There is no challenge here. It's just a waiting game before you acquire the necessary components to build pretty much anything. If you want to challenge yourself drop the collector and relay. Give yourself 1 ice, 1 bucket of lava, and 1 condenser on skyblock of bedrock. Your goal is to build an airship out of frames using FORTH programming automation. Good luck.

I love it when stupid people try and look smart and talk about things they know. It's just so cute. All that self righteousness and empty gallantry, standing up for the small group of social retards who pretend they're the masses. I just wanna pinch their widdle bitty cheeky weekies!

I really preferred my way of saying it. Now you probably ruined it and he's gonna stop at the outlet. Way to go man.

[Mod Request] Modular Force Field System
Beer replied to Aurrin's topic in Tekkit Classic Discussion
Well that's new then. We were talking about it in irc a couple weeks back and there wasn't an inkling of a bukkit port. Still though, unless it works flawlessly, no dice. Last I checked the trains don't work right. Something about going backwards or what have you. Basically sort of a deal breaker. -
Well, first you should probably start evaluating your life and wondering, what does it all mean? After you've spent a couple hours contemplating that, try to log in again and if it doesn't work, it's clear that the problem is the outlets in your house. The best way to get back at outlets in your house is to stab them, preferably with a metal object like a fork or sharp knife. Now once you've waged war on electricity and assuming you've won that battle, you need to go win the war. Drive down to your local substation and cross the streams. Make sure you hold firmly on both wires to bridge that connection which will cause a short and shut down the electricity for that block. If you're still up for winning the war, head to your local power plant and do the same thing. You may need to use an item like a metal rod to bridge the connection, but in the end, I think everyone will know what to do next time you can't authenticate your account with minecraft.net. Good luck to you soldier. Minecraft is counting on YOU!

[Mod Request] Modular Force Field System

No bukkit, no go. Kind of like, no glove, no love. Now stop it. -
Maybe you shouldn't release 3.1.0 at all now. It's what they're expecting.

There is only one thing that redpower can't do what buildcraft does and that's the whole builder thing which I've never used other than to see what it did. The one thing that buildcraft does easier than redpower is the quarry. With redpower, you have to actually build the mechanics of the quarry using frames, block breakers, motors, etc. Buildcraft you just need to build a block and power it, which is pretty easy. It's why I typically associate buildcraft with 'easy mode' engineering.

The only dupe issues I know of are EE related (RM furnace and void ring in an alch bag). Crafting Table 3 sucks. I never use it. I just stick to project tables for manual crafting and Automated Crafting Table Mk 2 for the automatic stuff. I've not noticed -any- duplication in items. I only mentioned EE in passing, it's definitely not required by any means. I personally use condensers because it's an easy source of material, but there are other means just as easily to get those resources.
-
It's a work around though. With redpower, you don't have to worry about this issue because you can withdraw exact amounts using filters and retrievers. Let's take a smaller scale example: A circuit machine. We have our material sources of iron, redstone, copper, and resin. These can be fed a number of ways ranging from manually to just having them auto-create using EE. It's up to you. Filters hooked up to each chest except we can get away with a transposer on the iron chest since we only need 1 iron. The filters will extract the following: 2 resin, 3 copper, and 2 redstone. Tubes will carry the resin to an extractor (preferably with upgrades to avoid backup) which will create a total of 6 rubber and send it to a crafting table with the copper. 3 copper, 6 rubber = 6 insulated copper wire. That is sent to another crafting table by way of transposer. The next crafting table will be our final crafting table where the redstone was already sent along with the iron that was run through an oven (either electric or blulectric). From here we have our circuit made with precision. Setting up redpower wires is simple as we're going to have a rapid circuit run everything -except- the filters and transposer that handle material distribution. Those are handled separately either by button or some other way of 'activation'. That activation will also go to an OR gate which is hooked up to a toggle gate next to the rapid timer which handles the bulk of machinery tables. The on/off switch can be handled a few ways, either manually, by computer program, or even have an auto shutoff using the item detector, which will send a pulse to the OR gate turning off the previously turned on rapid timer. Now, it seems complex, but only because I'm typing it. But given that circuits are the BANE OF MY EXISTENCE this machine was a godsend. You can also set up a submachine to take completed circuits and turn them into advanced circuits by just running it through a crafting table and applying the appropriate lapis, glowstone, and redstone by using the same automatic start/stop method.

And you know what was cool about that? Watching that zerg get repelled.
-
Yes. Minecraft broke it, you're boned.
-
You're untrustable because no one knows you. Has nothing to do with you, other than you're an unknown. Even if I did know you, I still wouldn't have you on as staff because if you want an effectively structured staff, you need to be able to communicate effectively and the language barrier is just that, a barrier. Although you -can- understand some english, your written skills come heavily into play and what you're presenting isn't even close to what I would consider applicable; however, that is me and how I would run things. It bears no mark on how ronkrt picks/chooses their applicants.

Moogle! How can you betray your technic brethren!? It is our job to suppress the masses, to keep order from chaos! Also, I'm more support, so you'll find me moving galaxies and sunderers to the front lines. Oh, also a reason not to play NC: Meet your teammates.
-
Then you can do the research and figure it out.
-
If you're gonna play NC, I'll be embarrassed for you.

Which is exactly my point. Hamachi can be as secure as you need it to be, unless you start inviting randoms to your network to join your minecraft server. It only takes one guy to decide to share your network password to really screw things up. Hell, I'd make the network private, give it a password, and only share the name and password of it with only the people who are participants. That way only the people you want to find the network will find it.
-
No. Much, much, worse than a password. https://twitter.com/#!/needadebitcard Actually now that I think about it, yes, but not over twitter... over IRC back in the day before IM's and social networks.

Well, a word on friendships. Friends don't necessarily make great business partners. Look at what happened to the Yogscast. Their 'friends' ended up taking around 50k of revenue from under their noses til they discovered it. They were 'friends' until all that. If you're going to bring a friend on, make sure you have met them in person, know where they live, and have an active social life with them. Otherwise friendship can just be one nasty facade. It sounds absolutely shallow but given how many 'friendships' have been betrayed in situations like these, I would be very hesitant about having friends as your staff. Not to be confused with being friendly, which is a completely different thing altogether

Well, you create it and password protect your virtual LAN and it's as safe as the password you use and the people you entrust with that password. The most secure things are worthless if you post the password on twitter.
