I would move here if i could. I'm allergic to apples.

Wow! a degree in english? Your E-penis must be HUGE. Also, people are being mean to you because this information was readily available, and there was no need to post a new thread.
-
Yeah, now they don't even check for hostile conditions at ALL. You can sleep unprotected in a glade, as long as you go to bed right at sundown.
-
Did you read the post i was quoting? I was saying to test the use of the deployer to complete snow golems, as a method of gaining insight as to whether or not it would work for iron golems.
-
I doubt that this will be of any major consequence. The best coders are mostly very pragmatic people, and will use whatever functions best. Worst case scenario, we lose a couple of the lowest quality pieces of technicpack. and then, noticing the missing pieces of the community, someone else will fill them in. tl;dr don't worry, be happy.
-
Test with snow golems? looks like it aught to be the same mechanic.

Build a Zipper. You can get from bedrock to toplevel in 12 seconds.

They irritate me, so my first couple nukes ALWAYS go towards clearing the map of millenaire villages. all that's left of them is a couple indestructable boxes hovering above a crater.
-
I think that HAVING a nuclear reactor, while the normans haven't even figured out that they can burn coal to keep warm in the cold climates is weird. We must seem like gods to them...

running technic launcher through command line in ubuntu?
Jay? replied to miniboxer's question in Technic Launcher
You don't understand the Linux mentality at all. You seem to have the windows mentality of "if it doesn't work, the devs need to support it better" Whereas the linux mentality is "Anything can be made to work." Tangentially related is this: http://xkcd.com/644/ -
Or even better: Into their REGULAR ores. Then they can be macerated.
-
*shrug* That's how it always happens. In fact, before 1.0 technic even skipped a few updates.

Computercraft would be amazinger if it could transmit wirelessly
Jay? replied to ChrisImmortal's topic in Cafe Lame
are you really planning on having more than six machine setups? Also, you could totally use data transfer cables to cause another computer to activate redstone signals. It would be more complicated, but definitely possible. -
I disagree, i think it feels LESS like cheating, because you actually have to be safe, and have your dangerous equipment turned off. With classic beds you can just be like "Oops, almost night time, i'll just lay this bed down, and change night into day" and you don't even get any power interuption from your solar panels, no mobs spawn, nothing happens. As a side note, it's a bad idea to use somnia if you have a reactor that requires attention. You leave it on one night, and then you just wake up to the "respawn?" screen

Probably some kind of permissions problem. Also you're not going to convince anyone to help you by double posting and making single line posts.

They're borken in SMP right now, you can't use them.

"SPOOOOOOOOooooooooooon!"

Whit box, top right, next to a button that says search. 1+1=?

Alright, first of all, there's a big huge "suggestions" sticky. you should use that. Second of all, the technic team can't do anything about most performance issues, that's in the realm of the original mod makers.
-
There's already a nice, big, well maintained thread about this. You should contribute to that.
-
That's why you should build your houses with stone brick.
-
First suggestion, turn on mipmapping before you take screenshots. Second suggestion, put in some cracked and mossy stone brick along with the regular.
-
Oops. I don't use the regular navigation, i just go to all my unread threads.

Speaking in the third person is not a human right, you don't need to speak in the third person in order to communicate, or go about any portion of your life. The fact that you tried to pass off your vain and pathetic attempt to be special as a human rights issue is offensive and denigrates all of the real human rights issues that actually exist. Fuck off.

Any non-wall defense system is going to require you to generate stuff. the thaumcraft symbols are a good choice if you have a lot of junk laying around, but IC2 defense systems are more renewable. alternatively, go and tame a pack of dogs.
