  1. Hm. I may pick it up, but it sounds like a very time consuming game...
  2. What was the big draw for those games? i remember a bunch of really vague ads, where a guy is standing looking back at you, but there were no hints as to what the game was about.
  3. oops. i meant Forge, not modloader. Disregard my blithering idiocy.
  4. You could totally make an RP2 toggle supplying redstone to the link, and attache a timer to that, forcing the Link to be on half of the time and off the other half. EDIT: or you could do what i do for my mass fab: connect it to an energy storage block, like an MFE, and set the redstone behavior to "emit if partially filled", and link the redstone up to the energy link/mass fab. That way, it will only send a packet or two at a time. You won't waste any of your power generation, or time.
  5. Doesn't the new version need the newest modloarder? That's gonna take a little while.
  6. Also, one other point of interest is that there IS no direwolf20 modpack. There is a "direwolf20 modpack instruction booklet" telling you to do it yourself. Anyone advertising a "direwolf20 modpack" is either misleading you or outright lying.
  7. go to the bug thread and submit reports
  8. Depends on what you have enabled and disabled.
  9. I love demos, and its sad that more games aren't employing them now. for every game i can think of that i bought because of a demo, i can think of 20 games that, if they had HAD a demo, i would never have wasted my money on. Got Kingdoms of Amalur, because the demo sold me, but if there had been demos for F.E.A.R., god of war 3, or any number of the fiddly JRPGs that i tend to get, i would have had an extra couple hundred dollars to spend on actual good things. As for mobile games, my biggest complaint is when they do things like that new tetris battle thing does, where you can buy coins to use superpowers. I've been ranked down so many times by people who are shit at the game, but had an extra 30 bucks to spend on sending double lines at me.
  10. That makes a kind of sense, but missing out on the Tom Baker years is inexcusable. Particularly (as i said) the arc beginning with "The Ribos Operation"
  11. Doctor who is only 360 hours? are you sure you're got that right?
  12. Another good thing to read, if Horror is more your style is Lost Souls, by Poppy Z Brite. Fucked up, sooooooo fucked up.
  13. Summer? Oh no, it would take all day marathons, every day, all summer to make it through that much. The "All of Doctor Who" challenge is best taken over the course of a year.
  14. Depends on what you like. I can suggest a full weekly reading list of webcomics, and if you have netflix, there's a long list of things you should watch. Watch the new Sherlocke, it's fuckin genius. Also, Birdy the Mighty: Decode is oddly good. If you're up for a long, long, LONG project, watch every episode of Doctor Who, starting with "The Ribos Operation"
  15. Okay folks, try: shutting down your firewall (ala Lethys), redownloading the launcher using firefox, if you aren't already manually deleting your .techniclauncher folder, uninstalling and reinstalling Java, making sure that you have Java 7 Disabling your antivirus, and doing a little dance.
  16. This isnt a bug, or something we can do anything about. If you think the value is too high, go to the MCF (shudder) post about it, and whine about it there. Don't be a dick about it though, Pahimar and Xenophobe are both super chill.
  17. Make sure technic isnt still open, otherwise the file might be locked.
  18. It's technically possible, but first post some pictures of the wiring. %90 of the electricity problems that get posted here have been somebody plugging a wire into the wrong end of a storage unit.
  19. Did you try filling your shoes with marmalade and converting to Rastafarianism?
  20. Get your players to give us the log then. It's unlikely that anyone can help without the logs.
  21. It's probably not even a problem on your end. Your ISP has probably noticed that you're using an unusually large amount of data, and capped your bandwidth. Call them up and yell at someone.
  22. Maybe, but the quality is a bigger concern. Aether mod was not very impressive.
  23. The Doctor and and Romana are organizing a Scarf league?
