Probably not. Just wait for the SMP/SSP merge to happen. People will most likely HAVE to mod for SMP then, and there will eventually be a decent town mod then.

Millenaire probably made it in because at the time it was millenaire VS Minecolony, and minecolony simply didn't function. Minecolony is now what millenaire could have been, and Millenaire has turned into a lag monster.

I like the Idea. I've even retracted my previous statements about it being OP. I still am not a fan, however. I loved it back in the old days of Aggregators, when dark matter was the highest you could go, and you had to carry a sackful of fuel with you to progress in any meaningful fashion. I mean, you could automate things if you played with buildcraft alongside it, but then you had to engineer everything. It just seems like EE2 took all the engineering fun out of the mod.

No clue about the inventory wipe, but did you edit the config so that it can mine out mod ores? if not, it will just sit there in front of the ore, waiting for someone else to dig it out.

The problem with jamming EE would be the log range items, like the catalysts, and the morningstar special.

Also, the Radeon Mobility HD 5850 isn't a 2gig card, it's 1 gig, unless i'm much mistaken.

There's also the problem with gender variance being so much more socially acceptable now. I've met a fair few transgender girls who use clearly female handles, but would be considered male by a large portion of the internet. I agree with the use of gender-nonspecific words, and for most things there are totally valid gender non-specific alternatives, that don't sound awkward as fuck. (i will never use postwoman, because that is an unwieldy term. I prefer Mail Slave.) This is a sticky one. On the one hand, letting everyone know that you're female means an instant deluge of "lol show us youre tits" and other things that make meaningful interaction on the internet difficult. On the other hand, there is quite a bit of under- and mis-representation that happens. It can feel a little lonely to someone sensitive. (i take this on very good authority.)

I was just about to come in and say "well... yeah. That's why there's a dev build and a recommended build, instead of just a released version."

This is why we insist on the report format. If you had told us you were using AVG, we would have told you to uninstall it, because even when it's disabled it keeps bits of itself on. Uninstall AVG, reinstall technic from scratch, and submit your bug reports the right way from now on.

That Radeon graphics card is your bottleneck. ATI cards aren't particularly good to start with, but the HD 5000 series has had more problems with it than the entire rest of the radeon series put together.

BC is buildcraft. I think EE has a fakeuser, if not, then i've got no clue.

Okay, what antivirus are you using? Try disabling it and redownloading the server.

You may need to give EE the same priveledges that need to be given to BC and whatnot.
