ran across this the other day on steam when I was bored, decided to give it a try. game is pretty amazing, tbh. pricing of some things in the market is rather ridiculous, but the gameplay is pretty sweet. being a space ninja is about as awesome as that sounds.

try posting in the right place, like the bug board for the pack you're using (assuming an official pack) and giving more info about your computer or anything really. "itz slo halp meh" doesn't do anyone any favors.

I just asked sct(the guy who wrote the code for platform), the download counts are accurate. they don't stop updating for no reason or any reason really. regardless, why is this even a thing you are having a cow over?

here is my suggestion: assuming you are talking about spawning in items and such, find a server where you are not admin and start playing there. you will be unable to cheat, even if you want to.

if you're trying to do something that needs 120 tesseracts, you should either have the resources/motivation to make them or you are doing something terribly wrong and don't actually need that many if you planned it out a little better. anything requiring that much crap generally means the player building it is well supplied in the first place. also, as others have said, tesseracts aren't even expensive. EE3 turns iron into ender pearls, which solves the hardest part of the problem. the rest is cake to get in large amounts.

most of the compatibility happens because of forge, anything else is usually accomplished via config alterations or in rare cases talking to the mod author to get features implemented. in general, most mods work together pretty well on their own nowadays.

while I don't know specifics, I know that there are plans in the works for improved power generation.

what I hear you saying is that you want RP2 and IC2 because you enjoy them and know how they work. that's totally cool, and it is pretty much the entire reason the technic platform exists. you don't have to be tied down to the official technic packs, you could make your own or find one someone else made that agrees with your tastes. installation is a snap and no technical knowledge is required if you're just using someone's pack on the platform. that would probably get you the end result you desire a lot faster and easier than lobbying the technic team to put those mods back in the pack, as there are many reasons they were removed and not all of them are simple fixes (don't ask me to list them because even I do not know, I'm just a moderator.)

hey OP, you asked a question and it was answered quite thoroughly. just because you didn't like the answer doesn't mean it wasn't a valid one. telling people to kill themselves because they accurately describe you is also really, really stupid. next time learn to actually ask questions you want the answers to.

since there is no longer a difference between single and multiplayer, from a technical standpoint, there is no longer a need for a separate single player version of the pack.

there's nothing special about tekkit's server file. what makes tekkit tekkit are the mods it comes with. doing what niavmai suggests will fix your problem and allow you to run bukkit plugins just like your son wants while still keeping all the tekkit stuff intact.
