if there was no end, the if statement would not have a stopping point, so it would never move forward OR dig if nothing was in front of it. if you are not playing on a remote server, you can use notepad++ or similar to write the code and save it in the proper place. said place depends on the ID of the computer you're using. basically <minecraft folder>\saves\<world name>\computer\<computer ID>\ there are multiple types of loops in LUA that can repeat a given number of times. for loops are usually used for this purpose though because they're basically ready-made for it. I've never heard of a language that uses a syntax like "loop x(command)", but for loops are a very standard type of loop that exists in almost any respectable language. functionally they do that same thing as what you seem to be expressing there, though for loops are a little more flexible than that. for loops in lua the code for what you want would look something like this: for x=1,10 do turtle.forward() end that would move forward 10 times.

since he's the OP of the thread, I assume he knows if he can or can't spawn in items on his server where he's got this issue. whatever works, IMO.

I guess try the logoutevator described earlier. either that or go with the smash and grab route I guess. nukes DO have a longer fuse than normal

this reminds me of a great series of videos by rhett and link: caption fail 1: caption fail 2: caption fail 3: caption fail 4: caption fail 5: -
I really like the thunderdark MFFS, feature set wise. I think it's a little too fiddly for its own good but it's probably worth it. definitely would not do anything with it without autocrafting logistics pipes or RP2 project tables though, I HATE making circuits all over the place. so annoying.

ok ok, I forgot to add "pedantic" in there. you got me. -
in that case, ender pearls or RP2 frames to move the forcefield blocks out of the way.

dragonshardz, you post dumb shit all the time. the guy has a point. OP, even using the phrase/word "/thread" is basically the definition of being arrogant. but you're right, that kettle is so black. -
This is actually totally wrong, outside of the advice to place the pc blocks high up. You can put them close together, just make sure they aren't all on the same plane or line. You need 4 hosts to get a reliable lock. It doesn't truly matter if you use the computer block coords or the modem block as long as you're consistent. Placing them high increases their range, which is useful. Your problem seems to be that you are out of range of your fourth pc, add you're only getting 3 listings. You could also have a typo in one host. Edit: right next to each other is bad though, you need a little space to make it work right, like 4 or 5 blocks

Yeah. he edited the posts to be a single period. I fixed it. Nothing was added or changed outside of that

well, if you can get another projector linked to the same power core thing (I forget the name) you can make a tunnel field that punches a hole in the original field. I have heard that if you throw enough ender pearls at them, you'll warp through as well.

technic forums: where we are so against censoring hilarious idiots that we undo their own attempts to remove their own hilariously idiotic posts!

let's just say, I put on my robe and wizard hat. if you know what I mean. it's complicated. the ritual involves 3 goats, a stone altar, a blue moon, 2 virgin women and a lot of blood. we try not to speak of it.

DNS is hardly even a thing, as far as I know. the internet is the last place to go for an educated discussion on anything. ever. edit: forgot to add, the answer to your real question is to pick the pack with the mods you like the most. shouldn't be too hard with only 6-8 people. hold on let me get my crystal ball out and channel the spirit of azanor... not working too well. hmm, let's try a ouija board...nope not getting anything. because the technic forums are the most likely place to find people in the know about a small time modpack with a really stupid creator who got banned from here like a year ago or whatever. yep, makes sense. also, see previous crystal ball comments. it's entirely likely. why does this matter for a server of no more than 8 friends? I think you're either a poor troll, or were born yesterday and are really bad at making decisions. that joke is as old as the windows version whose UI it emulates.

listen, I don't care about other people's "are it seams", or their "is" even if it happens to be for tekkit. I especially don't care about their "are"s. now, if it seems there are hacks, just like there are for tekkit out there, then that's another story.

some people say to me, OMG why don't you put ketchup in your mac and cheese? well I'm here to tell all of you like this why I don't. it's fucking disgusting, I mean really. worst of all, it looks worse than it tastes and you should feel terrible for ruining such wonderful food. now if the rest of you straight up mac and cheese haters are done hating, eat some real mac and cheese and start enjoying good food.

be rumplestiltskin, keep asking people to guess your name. being obscure suddenly becomes the entire point of the costume.

be nyancat. right up their alley from the sounds of it.

mac and cheese is short for macaroni and cheese. in this case, it's macaroni elbow noodles, a white cheese sauce, and a cheddar cheese + breadcrumb topping which is baked in the oven. it's good stuff. oh, and there was ham in there this time as well. delicious
-
google translate says finnish. I'm going to go with that. also I'm not out boozing because I am not the boozing type. I'm the kind of guy that relaxes and plays video games all day on his birthday then has home-made mac and cheese for dinner because it's delicious. (none of this kraft BS. we're talking the real deal.)

thanks! I'm gonna guess this is something along the lines of happy birthday in a language I don't recognize. (polish? am I close?) so, thanks! thanks, random other guy on the internet!

whoa whoa whoa whoa, hold on up here. you're telling me that you saw people. people who, upon investigation you believe to harbor negative attitudes toward water vapor? well fuck me sideways, that makes everything alright then! I mean, damn if even one person hates steam anywhere ever, we've clearly got work to do, you know what I'm sayin'? I really hope you do know what I'm sayin' actually, because I sure as hell don't. if you figure it out, could you tell me please?
