I know its not as important as some of the other posts in this thread, so i completely understand if this isn't responded to anytime soon. Though I have never really gotten too far into Aotbt and I feel like other experienced players could give me a few tips and maybe just a little info on the important mods. If this thread is successful, it wont be just to help me, it could help all new beginner players. Anyways, thanks to anyone who comments below to help.

Ill also try my best to add any of the helpful info and their respectable owners into the thread so people don't have to scroll through all of the comments to find what they need.

~The most generalist generally general advice~

"Since you are aiming in a very general direction it is hard to come by with something more precise then general advice ;)

But basicly things that one should tackle first after having a save hide out and a sufficient food supply are:
- Advanced Weaponary (Tinkers Constructs)
- Energy Generation (Thermal Expansion)
- Body Modification (Advanced Genetics)
- An automated Storage System (Project Red Transportation)

From there on it pretty much depends on personal tastes. You could go the automation and machinery route ... be creative as hell ... get into witchery or just explore. Depending on your taste a different subset of Mods from the pack will be interesting for you.

In general I would have a look at some of the guys from the original server and their series, which are just perfect introductions to various topics."

You could also watch my tutorials, but I guess it wouldn't make much sense, since I will be talking german all the time ;)

Building (Keralis) -

Yeah, if you don't break any rules or act dumb, you're cool people. We like cool people and we like helping cool people.

Keralis is a good builder, but I think he focuses on contemporary building styles.

BdoubleO100 (sorry, no links. Mobile phone, y'see?) is more alround. Some great medieval/fantasy inspiration and also contemporary.

EDIT: another idea is to look at LEGO models. There are some really good models out there (Architecture series) that can give you some great building inspiration.

It depends. Keralis did a wonderful rustic/medieval series with some awesome buildings. Some of them have been the inspiration for my AOTBT builds. In AOTBT he worked with different styles from contemporary to futuristic and his haunted witch house is a great example of victorian architecture ... even though it will be a pain in the butt with all those microblocks *G*

Let me help you out Melfice. This is BDubs AOTBT series:

Of course if your after direct education on the mods in the pack, rather than watching someone play for hours you could check out my thread that covers I think 16 of the mods from the pack and I will expand on it further when I find time of course pretty much all my tutorials can easily be found on the wiki also.
