The Modpack Location you entered is not a valid location

Similar to other posts since December the direct download links to my own domain are no longer working. I have confirmed that the files are accessible via Chrome and Safari (Paste URL and download starts immediately). 

 

I've updated one pack that had been working in November that points to the url http://wavesliders.net/modpack/kingsquest1710.zip

 

and I tried creating a new pack located at http://wavesliders.net/modpack/NQ.zip

 

These are just test/private packs to learn how to piece these things together but the validations will no longer allow me to source from this destination.

 

The domain is hosted at lunar pages on

Apache version 2.0.64 PHP version 5.3.27

 

Nothing particularly unique about the configuration. No redirects, Leech Protect, etc.

Both links, clicked directly from this post of yours, started to download both files.  I had no problem downloading the files off your link. Can you be more specific what the problem is.

There is some kind of issue going on which I've been unable to resolve yet. I've been going back and forth with the Technic devs in IRC when they are available. This is kind of a "known issue" with no current resolution other than to use a different host ( copy.com works well )

Understood, just wanted to raise awareness that it is more than the .uk domains from the other posts. I've also confirmed that the http response is a 200 O.K. that was mentioned in one of the posts about the validation logic for the url.

I get this bug as well.

The above downloads fine in any browser, but the Tekkit site says "The Modpack Location you entered is not a valid location."

The direct IP also doesn't work.  Please fix.

It appears responsive. Its also a 2 GB modpack, which implies a badly done modpack at best.

Cache folder, which is quite a bit over 1 GB is included. Minecraft.jar is being distributed, which is considered illegal.

Again, we can't help you. Platform is working correctly, I can't access your sky.rdnx.nl link either. Maybe it only works from inside the Netherlands?
