Launcher won't run mod packs

The technic launcher is allowing me to download mod packs but when I try and click play, it does it's loading thing. Then it minimizes for a split second before opening back up again, having not launched the mod pack. Can you guys please help me?

logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window.
If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs

I had this same problem and the cause was that I had a 32 bit version of java installed on a 64 bit PC.

 

When I installed the 64 bit version it started right up.

There's a lot going on here- one of the packs you attempted to run isn't java 8 compatible.  You also appear to be hooked up to 32-bit java, which you should probably change from the Java Settings tab of Launcher Options.  Finally, I'd suggest increasing your memory allocation from the same place, if possible.

My pack that i recently made installed and now i try to play it but it immediately sends me back to the launcher. Please help
