GreenWolf13 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I believe he's a nuclear engineer, or studying to be one. Can't remember which thread it was that he said it in. Quote
Jorcer Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Then his avatar is suitable Yours on the other hand has nothing to do with necromancy... Quote
GreenWolf13 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I gave up necromancy as a job. Now it's just a hobby. Quote
Xylord Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I believe he's a nuclear engineer, or studying to be one. Can't remember which thread it was that he said it in. Probably in Nuclear Engineering : 101, where he literally gave us a formula about real reactors. Quote
Jorcer Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Probably in Nuclear Engineering : 101, where he literally gave us a formula about real reactors. Good point that would likely be it. Quote
GreenWolf13 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Probably in Nuclear Engineering : 101, where he literally gave us a formula about real reactors. Speaking of real reactors, I live 50 miles from the largest nuclear power plant in the United States, the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. Quote
GreenWolf13 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 That would explain the greenness! Indeed it would. (I was wondering how long it would take you to say that.) Quote
ampayne2 Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 xD If you mean me, computer engineer But nuclear engineer seems cool... Quote
MrFly Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 xD If you mean me, computer engineer But nuclear engineer seems cool... Honestly other than nuclear I don't see why a engineer would use a computer. Although he could be looking and using 3D models to see things, it would really have no point other than that. Quote
xxmikegigsxx Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineers also need computers. Quote
MrFly Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineers also need computers. My math teacher used to be an aerospace engineer. She tells us all this shit about geometry and stuff. Quote
xxmikegigsxx Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 They create a 3D render on a computer and can test it on there or have the design made and then do tests with the model. Quote
Jorcer Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 xD If you mean me, computer engineer But nuclear engineer seems cool... We were talking about SimpleGuy :) Quote
NightKev Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Why not? The expected wattage is like 280, so why wouldn't a 300w PSU run it? (I am completely ignorant of how the inside of a computer works, I'm a software guy, not a hardware guy.) Really? That doesn't sound right... how did you get that number? Quote
GreenWolf13 Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 Really? That doesn't sound right... how did you get that number? It said in the part picker what the wattage would most likely be. Quote
MrFly Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 It said in the part picker what the wattage would most likely be. Even though part picker is handy and helpful, it isn't always accurate. If you want a real answer you would want to go to a computer shop or even to Best Buy to ask someone. Partpicker is third party so you never know what info your getting Quote
cmwatford Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Jumpin on the bandwagon here but here's a build I'd like to do in the next few months. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/iXZP Quote
