Running a server... without a batch file?

The OS of the server is Windows 8?

What type of interface do you have for running your JAR? Like a command where you type something? If you have some web control panel or something, can you post a screenshot?

You can run Java and point it at the JAR. I'd need to see what mechanism you have for starting an application on your host.

Well I cant use tekkit or FTB because its only Minecraft, Bukkit, and Spigot.

I'm not following you here?

My server is hosted, I placed the Tekkit.jar file on the server and launch that. I then get MCPC+ and rename it to tekkit.jar and then start the server up with that file. You will know it's MCPC+ because it's around 20mb where as the normal Tekkit.jar is only like 2mb I think.

Well that's a restriction by your host then

But I know Multicraft intimately, and like I said, it automatically sets the .bat and .sh files up for you. So you don't need to worry about either of those

If you are trying to run a .jar that isn't listed in that drop down menu, then you will have to probably create a support ticket and they will do it for you
