Go to "My Profile", click on "Edit Profile", then scroll down to "Profile Information." Next to the "Member title" box, there is a white box. Remove "member" from it and type in what you want. Yes, I know you're (probably? I would hope you are) joking. Others might not. As for your question, you absolutely can change your title. I wouldn't be on fire if one couldn't.
