I would seriously consider removing Java 6 entirely. There is nothing I can think of that requires it to run, and it seems to cause problems a lot.

Incompatible with this version of MACOSX

This...is the only part of your post I can make heads or tails of. Please try again (after reading the stickies, and I do mean really reading and understanding them instead of just saying you did). -
Trying to get Technic 7 to work but failing (Please HELP)
Torezu replied to Lava_Werewolf's question in Technic Launcher
Unless you feel like reinstalling Technic to see if it will work, I recommend removing BetterDungeons. The thing just seems to screw up way too much stuff to keep around, unless you're dead set on it. -
Wow, so you posted the same useless (to you and us) crap in a different section? Nice.

Removing Energy Condenser causes crash
Torezu replied to Dantheminingman's question in Tekkit Classic
You can't remove it because you failed to RTFS or UTBRF. Also, ducks. -
If the server is whitelisted, you might not be on the whitelist. The server could be full, but it's not likely that every server you try would be. Otherwise, your firewall/AV/proxy may be blocking your copy of Minecraft. Those are the three biggest reasons, as far as I know, that you get socket exceptions.

Solution: Download a new launcher - yours is quite outdated. Then upgrade Java 7 - you have u1, you want u4. Then clear your cache and get 3.0.3.
-
No. There is nothing anyone can do unless you ask in a more informative way, and even then I'd rely on your server host to fix most of your problems.
-
Solution: Remove collectors, condensers, all red matter tools and armor, most of the rings and both of the amulets, and especially the transmutation tablet. Now, the only way you can use the dark matter tools is a relay and feeding items into it. Dark matter tools aren't so overpowered, in my opinion. Most of the rest of EE is. The items you're left with are the DM tools, alchemical bags/chests (way too handy to get rid of, at least for me), and a few of the more useful items like the black hole band (maybe, can be used for griefing with the liquid removal), zero ring, harvest goddess band, possibly pedestals, klein stars, and maybe a couple of other things if the server admins feel they aren't overpowered.

I'm looking for a new game, I hope you can recommend me some

And, as everyone knows, giant robots make everything better. -
Check out the Technic+ stuff, somebody added a bunch of mods, both modpack.jar changes and .zip mods to the mods folder. Unfortunately, I think he discontinued it...

My experience with Technic, Tekkit, and it's website.
Torezu replied to DrAgonmoray's question in Technic Launcher
I have found one. The Kerberos Productions forums (makers of Sword of the Stars I & II and Fort Zombie) run theirs in a similar manner. This is true even though they're actually a company that has to keep its customers at least sort of happy. -
I really hate to say it, but you set yourself up for it - you chose your name well. Read the stickies, and use the bug report format. Help us...help you.
-
Read this thread. It includes instructions. You need more brackets. It will look like this: [img width=800]Image link here[/img]
-
Weird. Seems to work just fine for me. *Edit: To break image tags so they wouldn't be double-posted.
-
The issue is that you failed to read the stickies, and follow the bug report format.
-
Looks cool, except you broke the table. Add " width=800" (with the space, no quotes) inside your first img tag for each picture.

Severe errors, world doesn't generate when starting Tekkit server
Torezu replied to Axmann8's question in Tekkit Classic
There are times when I need to know how to make that smiley that shoots itself in the head. That's what you make people want to do around here when you don't read the stickies. You know, those things at the top of the board, where your specific error is the title of one of them? -
Java version, good. Okay, so you have Java 7. Now, how exactly are you trying to craft pipes (which pipes, sure you're using the right recipe, etc.)? Since you're the only one with this error, it's probably not a bug. Pipe recipes are [material] [glass block] [same material] for planks, cobble, smooth stone, iron, gold, diamond, and obsidian. Whether it's on the middle row or not doesn't matter as far as I know. Glass panes don't work. Conductive pipes are made by crafting redstone into existing pipes (shapeless, I think) and waterproof pipes by crafting waterproofing material (made from cactus green) into pipes. Come back with more info.

Then at least give us some more information so we can help you figure it out. This thread (from the stickies) will help, though I'm not sure how you missed it since you clearly found the report format thread. Also, "Windows" is not helpful. There are a few different versions of Windows.
-
How did you get the launcher version and be completely unable to know your version of Java (instructions freaking provided on how to do this) or Windows (this is just sad)? Try again!

[Seed][Tekkit 2.1.0|1.1] Smallest village in the world
Torezu replied to BB's topic in Get Lost Grotto
All you have to is add width=800 inside your img tag, like I did. Do it. The rest of us will like you more. -
It's likely your player.dat file is corrupted - have the server owner delete it.
-
ChopTree 2 is not included with the dev build of Tekkit. You will have to add a server plugin that does the same thing. Don't ask how to do that - if you don't know, figure it out, and if you can't figure it out, you have no business running your own server.
-
This is definitely a Failure To Read error. You should go back and look at the stickies, then try again with your bug report.
