Caveat: You need a 64-bit OS to be able to use 64-bit Java. If you don't have that, no amount of trying to assign more memory to Java is going to do you any good.

It seems entirely possible that this is caused by a local firewall or AV software (i.e. on that computer). But still, a pastebin would help.

I'm not going to try to be rude, but if you want to distinguish your pack from every other one out there with similar, or basically identical, mod selections, you're going to have to spice up your post a tiny bit.

You may want to both proof your post and add a little more information, including an MC version number for example.

That's not a public shared link. You need to get the public link from your Dropbox site if you want other people to be able to download it.

I've never heard of a mudpack that did anything but give you clear skin when you were done using it. As for one glitching out...I think they make you blind when they do that.

Trending packs are those that increase in downloads over a period of time. It looks like it stopped getting larger numbers of new downloads, so it didn't stay on the top trending pages.

Seems to me the LegacyJavaFixer might be required, since you're running a 1.6.4 pack on Java 8. Try finding that and dropping it in your mods folder.
