It is possible. Simply run the server once, then copy the vanilla worlds contents to the world folder in the server folder. IE: copy vanilla_server_pathworld* to hexxit_server_pathworld*

Sounds like security software stopping the connections to resolve the hostname, that or you have a virus of some description that has taken over network control (less likely, but these are out there). Disable security software temporarily (google for instructions) then try again, if the issue is resolved, respond here if this method works or not. Also respond with what security software you have.

When you get it up and running, youd re-upload the pack and change the version value for the modpack so it sees theres an update and re-download the pack for anyone using it so they get the changes. For the error, it could be any number of the mods you have in the pack that has associated mobs with it.

It literally tells you what the issue is. No legitimate copies associated with it. Meaning you either didnt buy the game or theres an issue on Mojangs part with verification. Nothing the technic team can do and you would have to contact Mojang.

Considering the age of that post I linked to being from 2012, tekkit classic was tekkit at that point in time. And tbh, was the only actual source of information i could find that had a listing of packs. And considering that thread then provides links to the individual pack threads - could very well have been updated to the more recent versions of tekkit or otherwise provide links to updated forms of them if someone took their project over.

For clarification purposes: DMCA is not an organization or entity. It is a law. There are organizations and entities out there that are responsible for enforcing the DMCA. Edit: Linked DMCA to the wikipedia article on it - for those who do not know what it is in its entirety or do not know what DMCA means (also, they typo'ed DMCA in their news reports as DCMA...silly cauldron devs)

Peaceful difficulty would cause this. It would also cause all other hostile mobs to never be seen (good indication if you have it on peaceful, outside of ykno, the actual setting)

There's plenty of sites out there that are dedicated to providing a subdomain that lets you point it to your external IP, and this is how you would change an IP to a name. You can find a lot of them under the term "dynamic ip host" (https://www.google.com/search?q=dynamic+ip+host )

"Definitely enabled" doesnt describe everything youve done. I can only go off of the information provided. I would rather have you said "I went to options and verified it was enabled there" than assume "definitely enabled" covers it - because if it covered it, itd cover everything else, and if that was the case, it wouldnt be an issue for ya. Go to the modpack folders config folder. Open NEI.cfg, inventory.hidden=false make sure thats set to false. If it is, post the NEI config contents here. Hard to assist when you dont explain whats confusing you.

1) Issues belong on the tracker, link at top of page or in my signature below. 2) I typically suggest avoiding LAN, but i see no reason why it wouldnt work. Open to lan, have ppl in the same network connect with your network IP (not external)

Click the OPTIONS button, ensure NEI is enabled.

If you want more than one version available in the launcher, youll need to use solder (very little support for this btw) - if you want to not replace the already uploaded file, just use a different name to the file and update the modpack to the new zips url.

Link still isn't a direct download. ?download=1 needs to be appended to the URL to make it a direct download. Failure to do this will again cause the launcher to fail to download the pack at all. I'll take a closer look at it in a moment.
