I haven't cleared this with GenPage yet, but as far as I'm concerned that if you have tinkered with the modpack and added more mods then it doesn't belong in the Tracker.

I didn't ask about the launcher. I asked why the Tracker did not work for you, since that is the place where these issues belongs and not here. Locking this since you figured out your own problem

Close the launcher and the game (if you're running it), delete the %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic folder (remember to backup your saves!) now click the launcher and it will redownload everything. If you can't delete folders on the recycle bin then you should restart your PC, that will effectively stop anything from using those folders Don't bump your post

Don't use java 8 when playing modded minecraft, we don't know if any mods support that java yet. Additionally, this does not belong in Tekkit modpack discussion. All issues belong in the Tracker

Bumps are not accepted on this forum. you might have noticed that this part of the forum gets very little traffic. The ones who play this pack doesn't visit here often. Your best bet would be to make a report on the Tracker. Along with pictures, maybe a youtube video link? Follow the Tracker Rules and Guidelines -
never get mods from a site that has [number]minecraftforum.com or minecraft[insert additional words here].com minecraftforum.net or curse.com is the prefered sites where modders put links to their mods. (a few exceptions is the few who posts their mods on this forum, and maybe on FTB forum?) Get your mods anywhere else and you risk your computer to downloading adware / malware and other crap.

post the log Error logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window. If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs Paste the content on pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com and give the link.

you should probably add that it is obligatory to put links to each and every mod the user wants. Unless you want the stress to look for them yourself... just a tip
