    I think there was a mod called World of Dinos, by CanVox, that made the Dinos spawn naturally on Tropic lands. Try to look in the configs of that mod

    [INFO] spellscript.ScopeException: Scope Exception: class java.lang.String hasn't implemented all its inherited abstract methods. ugh, not this again. Spellscript is a method/code line/whatever that is used by Hack/Mine modpack. I have no idea why it decides to shout error on this, especially if you didn't try to launch Hack/Mine, did you?

Something on your computer is blocking the launcher. Webproxy, Netnanny, firewall or antivirus - find out which one is doing it.

    ​This thread is for helping users with "gameplay" of main Tekkit. Launcher issues belong in Bug Reports As for Tekkit Lite and Classic, they have been removed from the menu but they are still around. Just search the word "tekkit" on the search bar on the launcher

    did you launch one modpack before you posted that? I'm not seeing any errors

    the log is probably too long because you launched modpacks too many times, since the log tracks everything. Delete the log, try to launch one modpack ONCE or wait for a new day, every new day is a new log when you start the launcher

You mentioned you can only raise it to 1GB, which means your installed Java is a 32-bit. Go look on Launcher options when you have turned the launcher window up and see in Java Settings if you happen to have a 64-bit Java. If you don't, download one

    custom pack errors don't belong here, post your issue on Platform Pagoda. Always add the URL link to your pack and a pastebin link to your log. logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window. If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs Paste the content on pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com and give the link.

Find the culprit - antivirus, firewall, webproxy - and make it stop (disable it or make the launcher an exception through it). Google for instructions for your specific security software
