can you not disable Watchguard? Or make the launcher an exception through its firewall? Google for instructions

the Top Dogs are here from time to time, but they can't respond to all posts and threads. If you want a direct response then IRC is the quicker route.

Moved this, since it had no business being on Bug Reports. I heard that the launcher is a fork from Spout, Spout.org. But if that is the current launcher and not the old one I don't know. You'd be better off asking the admins on Technic IRC Good luck building your own launcher

that's what you're supposed to do. Contact the guy who made the pack. Technic team did not make that pack and is therefore not responsible for it.

you'll get a quicker response from Technic IRC than here in the forums, if you wish to ask the Technic admins directly. anyway, you don't need Technic's permission to create a modpack and put it in the Platform. But you can't call it an "official" Technic pack

Technic team is not responsible for packs made by other people. Contact the modpack author for help with his pack Does technic packs - Attack of the B-team, Tekkit, Hexxit - work?

post the log logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window. If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs Paste the content on pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com and give the link. -

Starting download of http://resources.download.minecraft.net/ad/ad7d770b7fff3b64121f75bd60cecfc4866d1cd6, with 3 tries remaining Failed! , with 2 tries remaining Failed! , with 1 tries remaining Failed! I edited the last two lines out because they mention the same pathway over again. If the log states this then something on your end is blocking the launcher. Antivirus and Firewall, those are your first suspects. Detain and interrogate them. Google on how to disable your antivirus or make the launcher an exception through it. Same goes for the firewall

we got this thing called "Bug Reports" section. See if you can find it. If a Technic modpack doesn't download then it falls under Launcher bug reports. Always include logs when you present errors logs can be found when clicking the Cog-Wheel button on the top right corner on the launcher window. If you can't open the launcher the logs can also be found inside %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> logs Paste the content on pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com and give the link.
