  1. You are using Java9. Don't. Keep using Java8.
  2. Tell them to update it again.
  3. Tekkit Classic, Tekkit Lite, TekkitMain or Tekkit Legends?
  4. Nope, you didn't follow any of the modpack creation instructions. Not even going to bother with all the Modname-Mod files either.
  5. Both of you should remove Java 9. It is too new, and doesn't work with the launcher (and especially not with Forge) yet.
  6. Ask your friend what their videocard is, and what version the driver of said videocard is. The second part is the red herring, seen often. It has nothing to do with any crashes, and can be safely ignored.
  7. While there is a way, you do not actually need a public folder to share your modpack. All you need is a direct link. In case you still want to know how to do this, there's a file in the .technic directory called "installedPacks". Open it and edit your modpack in.
  8. ERROR: NO PASTEBIN'D LOGS FOUND EITHER. So no, you do not have the same issue. As both of you have not given any evidence of such.
  9. Nope, you need to manually download Baubles and put it in your mods folder. The link you see no longer exists, therefore, it throws this error. Link to baubles: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/baubles/files/2224857
  10. Wow, this is a rare occasion. Can't find a single mod which has been downloaded from shady sites! Your issues (yes, you have two different issues, both easy to fix) are actually quite simple, and they happen pretty often. 1. You zipped the folder containing the required folders. You should zip the required folders directly. (current situation: zipfolder -> modpack folder -> required folders.| needed situation: zipmodpackfolder -> required folders). 2. The bin folder contains the modpack jar named "modpack.jar". Name it "modpack" instead. (it is currently actually named modpack.jar.jar. Stupid hidden file extensions are to blame.)
  11. NO. Deleting the launcher and related files will not fix your issue. Could as well low-level format your windows install, which wouldn't do anything either. If you select modpack options, is the version set to recommended? Because 4.2.7.1 isn't a known version.
  12. That's going to be depending on how much there is in your pc. You shouldn't really need more than 4 GB though. more usually causes worse fps.
  13. The error being " java.lang.OutOfMemoryError", I'd say that would explain it.
  14. Error: No pastebin'd logs found.
  15. Launcher options -> Java settings -> Second dropdown box.
  16. The problem is that you have JDK 9 installed. It is brand new and prone to bugs. Like Techniclauncher not launching anymore. Just downgrade back to Java 8.
  17. And it wasn't magically moved into the 1.7.10 folder inside the mods folder?
  18. Download 64bit java and up your RAM usage to 3-4 GB. Your issue is the game running out of resources when it is processing the textures. The reason I asked for the age of your pc is because this happens more often to old pcs. Just verifying it isn't a XP to Win10 computer (yes we get those).
  19. Just for your information, no one can access that attachment.
  20. Could be me, but that modpack is an absolute mess...
  21. Update your version of Additional Pipes. While you are at it, update Logistics Pipes itself as well. Btw, why is there Rei's minimap for 1.6.4 included? https://github.com/tcooc/AdditionalPipesBC/releases https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/logistics-pipes/files/2427862
  22. No, it is much more likely an issue with your pc. Care to provide some specs?: 1. 32bit or 64bit OS? 2. Total RAM in pc? 3. Age of pc?
  23. Yes. Use FTB Launcher or the newish Twitch App for modpacks like that. We do not support reposts of FTB modpacks. Likewise, they do not support ours.
  24. Yes, that's you still using Java 6.
  25. How much RAM do you have? And how much was in use while you tried starting hexxit?
