JaariAtmc got a reaction from TheN00bpower in Uninstalling Technic not possible
That's because its not a program you install. The whole "install" process is just the executable making a folder in Appdata -> Roaming to place everything, and the program you start is the program itself. Just delete the .technic folder and the techniclauncer executable and you've uninstalled everything.

Not. Someone probably broke the ship entity. Make sure to add all carpenter block IDs to your archimedes ships block blacklist.

JaariAtmc got a reaction from IDoBadMods in [Resolved] Forge version is too old, can't figure out how to change it.
Do exactly like how you made the modpack in the first place (bin folder), except remove current modpack file and replace it with forge 1566+ renamed to modpack.
Edit: And if you delete anything that's not part of the bin folder, well, don't unless you know what you are doing.

Obviously you've added LLibrary, the dependency that MowzieMobs needs, right?

JaariAtmc got a reaction from Hyper075 in Unable to create a modpack
1. It steals downloads off mod creators.
2. It misrepresents mods (mod for new version while that mod hasn't been released yet for that version, so pure clickbait)
3. It doesn't updates mods, therefore giving you months, sometimes years old builds that then break. And you didn't know, cuz you had NEI-Latest-1.7.10 which was 2 bloody years old and already had 10 newer versions of which you needed atleast 8 versions later cause that included the fix that prevented your modpack from working. The amount of times this happens is no longer fun anymore. No, it doesn't have to be NEI perse.

JaariAtmc got a reaction from Hyper075 in Unable to create a modpack
You did not change the file from a .rar to a .zip. You renamed it to a .zip. That does not work. It may look like it works, but its essentially a semi-corrupted file now. Also, you included too many folders. You only need bin (which should only contain the modpack jar, not all those other files), config, mods (get your mods off curseforge or minecraftforum please, no 9mc crap, and yes, Modname-Mod-MCversion is really obvious 9mc crap), and you need the Flan folder.
Why have you included a world save? Its quite large. Also, why's there a Cache folder included? >.>

You appear to be having an issue with an unsupported Intel Graphics device and Windows 10. This issue is common for older computers and Windows 10. We recommend, if it's a desktop, to get a dedicated graphics, as it is always a better option, anyways. However, there is a fix. Please press WindowsKey + X and click on "Programs and Features" and uninstall all copies of Java. After that, install Java 8 from this link: http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=98428 Start up the launcher and try again. -

TechniKhittyBOTToday at 9:40 PM
Forge, Technic Launcher, and Minecraft do not support Java 9, 10, or 11. Follow either the manual or script instructions to remove it and replace with Java 8: Script 1. Close the Technic Launcher. It cannot be running! 2. Download this file: https://download.uskarian.net/scripts/mac-delete-java9.command 3. Open terminal 4. Copy and paste: chmod +x ~/Downloads/mac-delete-java9.command 5. Copy and paste: sudo ~/Downloads/mac-delete-java9.command If it asks you for your password then type in your password. You will not see text being entered as your type, but it is being entered! Once you've typed your password hit enter on your keyboard. 6. Download Java SE Development Kit 8u191 from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html 7. Install the jdk-8u191-macosx-x64.dmg you just downloaded. OR Manual 1. Close the Technic Launcher. It cannot be running! 2. Open terminal 3. Copy and paste: sudo rm -rf /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-{9,10,11}*.jdk/ If it asks you for your password then type in your password. You will not see your password being entered as your type, but it is being entered! Once you've finished typing your password hit enter on your keyboard. 4. Copy and paste: sudo rm -rf Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin 5. Copy and paste: sudo rm -rf /Library/PreferencePanes/JavaControlPanel.prefPane 6. Download Java SE Development Kit 8u191 from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html 7. Install the jdk-8u191-macosx-x64.dmg you just downloaded. -

Then either come on discord, or add a log. Fully possible that you have a different issue altogether.

JaariAtmc got a reaction from Vert3x in Technic SSP 6.0.7 MC 1.1
I asked one of the admins, and they were unsure why technicssp is not included. I checked the old launcher (cannot be logged into anymore, thus useless), and saw that said modpack was included.
https://github.com/TechnicPack/Technic/blob/master/technicssp/modpack.yml
This page shows which mod versions were included. It is actually possible to still download these files. Start a PM if you are interested in downloading these.

Why is your modpack set to be 1.6.4 while you are using a 1.7.10 Forge?

Your power or pc/server probably shut off suddenly. Power loss maybe? Remove the DimDoors folder from the world save. As that got corrupted.

JaariAtmc got a reaction from sliggybiggy in Need help with custom modpack!
You've got a mix of illegitly obtained mods, 1.7.10 mods and 1.12.2 mods. That's going to be a problem.
Your bin folder is empty, which should contain the forge.jar renamed to "modpack". You currently have that file named wrongly in the top folder (sickcoolradpack).
Also, remove all the excess folders: asm, blueprints, crash-reports, logs, resourcepacks, saves. And remove the botaniavars and usernamecache files.

JaariAtmc got a reaction from LaFlyingSpartan in My Modpack Launches in Vanilla.
Works fine. Anyways, did you want to make a 1.12 or a 1.7.10 modpack? Because your mods folder contains mods of both of those MC versions.

You are on Java 7, while modpacks require java 8 nowadays. If version is a problem, download 8u25.

Here you go, this is the thing you'd get on the Technic Discord:
Please download this file, then RightClick->Run as Administrator. This should clear Java Settings that are being stored in your OS, which interfere with Technic. This script was written by the main author of this bot, Khio, and can be trusted. http://download.uskarian.net/technic/clearJavaEnvVars.bat

JaariAtmc got a reaction from Magiehammer in Luke’s (Hopefully) comprehensive modpack making guide.
I've checked and worked it back to the Voxelmods/Voxelmap FOLDER in the mods folder. Remove that, and it should no longer be an issue. Also, please do get all your mods off curseforge.com or minecraftforum.net.

You tried to allocate 3 GB RAM. You did not have 3 GB RAM available. Close programs/restart pc and try again immediately.

Computer type doesn't matter. Minecraft/Technic/Forge will not run on Java 9/10. Go back to Java 8.

JaariAtmc got a reaction from MarshTheBacca in Custom Modpack Loads Vanilla Minecraft
I see you fixed your download link.
You've actually fallen into the third common pitfall, which is the second most common issue: Zipping a folder which contains the required folders. You need to zip the required folders directly. If you don't do this, it will place the required files in a seperate folder in the modpack files (which is what you observed).
Your current setup: Zipfile -> Modpack folder -> Required folders
Required setup: Zipfile -> Required folders
Also, good on you, no obvious illegitimate mods found, and slick-util's new for me, haven't seen that one before.

Locate the modpack folder, open the config folder, open the forge.cfg file and edit the values for "Remove erroring TileEntities" to true. Save and try again.
