I like the mod too much, so I just made a rift remover to be done with it.

Yeah, according to the creator, ThaumCraft wasn't entirely done yet, and he didn't want to have it in tons of public modpacks. Understandable, because if a lot of packs contain the mod, then a lot of users are going to mass-complain about "X feature is missing" or "Y feature is broken and here's why".

First of all, don't sign your posts, it's against the rules. Second, add [ComputerCraft] to the list of people who can't touch protected areas. Turtles use fake players. Denying [ComputerCraft] anything will also deny it to turtles.

That won't help. You really need a rift remover or something that can completely clear an area of all tile entities and other special stuff.

Why go back to 1.0.5? It would theoretically work, but you'd get extreme amounts of lag when someone's in the overworld or Mystcraft world.

Funny thing is, he does have creative control. He can make his own modpacks using the Technic Platform.

Normal powered rails, Dimensional Doors, MystCraft linking books.

The reason this is happening because Tekkit has the Custom LAN Ports mod. It provides commands like /sethome in LAN Servers. So you'll need a server mod which does these commands as well. I suggest ForgeEssentials.

Yeah, Redstone Engines have had quite a nerf, they only work on Pumps and Wooden Transport Pipes now.

You download the Tekkit server, and then you replace Tekkit.jar with the MCPC+ jar.

Hmm, mining an ore gives two ingots? Not sure what I think of that, as it would make the Pulverizer useless.

His problem is probably the internet security package his dad set in place, since it keeps complaining about not being able to connect to technicpack.net.

Try disabling your firewalls and antivirus, see if that helps. Either that, or open cmd and type "tracert technicpack.net", see where the connection gets blocked.

I initially dismissed this mod as uninteresting earlier, but it actually looks pretty promising. Compatible with Thermal Expansion, and a new BC engine, too.

You'll need a 1.5.1 version. Those are all for 1.5.2.

It won't fill a sealed area unfortunately, it'll just make a bubble. Makes airlocks kinda pointless.

It must be some mod interfering with the music somehow. But I don't know which one. It might be GalactiCraft, so I'll try that first.

MCPC+ is a Bukkit and Forge server in one jar, basically. It allows you to run a Bukkit server with Bukkit plugins, as well as mods. ForgeEssentials adds some new commands for server administration, it was originally intended to try and replace the "Essentials" Bukkit plugin. BukkitForge is a mod which can load a lot of Bukkit plugins, but not as well as MCPC+. If you want to use Bukkit plugins, I suggest you download the Tekkit server and MCPC+, and then replace Tekkit.jar with the MCPC+ .jar.

Nope. Tesseracts only work with BuildCraft-based stuff.
