  1. I can manage to get a craft into orbit, but not much else. :/
  2. Try messing around with Applied Energistics.
  3. Actually, once Tekkit Lite came out and Thermal Expansion was added, I switched over pretty quickly. Made 2 Quarries with an automatic sorting system. All ores got Pulverized, all Junk was incinerated. I have to disagree with RP2 being overrated, though. I like how the whole system of tubes and Filters and such worked. But Applied Energistics seems to do a good job at that, too.
  4. ComputerCraft can output redstone signals, but I don't think they have support for Rednet cable yet.
  5. Firefox has that too. It can sync your last session across devices as well as your history, bookmarks and cookies.
  6. I can confirm this bug, but which block the pipe turns into is actually related to the side of the machine where you place the pipe.

Sounds like you have an outdated texture pack. Not sure. 1.5 changed how Texture Packs work.
  8. Yeah, Redstone Engines are only good for BC Pumps and Wooden Pipes.
  9. I'd like to point out that "Don't sign your posts" is in the rules. You'd have known that if you read them. EDIT: Ninja'd
  10. Really, I thought I was missing a lot, but now I'm missing nothing. I never knew the other mods were this deep.
  11. More people are having this issue. It has something to do with Buildcraft. I'm guessing this is fixed in the latest version, but because Mojang is too lazy to add something useful to the meta-game, we'll have to wait for Team CoFh's mods to update to 1.5.2, among others.
  12. What do you need that much Diamonds for, anyway? Diamonds are sorely overrated in modpacks like these. And Coal also isn't that scarce, since Charcoal is basically identical to Coal outside of IC2.
  13. It's a pretty fun thing to mess around in. Also, it's not finished yet. Just wait until it's finished.
  14. Hmm, so it appears BuildCraft has some sort of leak.
  15. Yeah, OP is totally right. I mean, why progress in the technology tree when you can just dig a 1x2 hole in the ground and survive forever?
  16. Ah yeah, that's also one of the reasons I miss IC2. Being able to Macerate dirt out of Plantballs and such. Maybe I'll try and make a mod that allows you to craft dirt, among other things. Modular Powersuits features a Multitool of sorts that's pretty quick.
  17. Pro tip: Obsidian. IC2 nerfs Obsidian into uselessness, but IC2 isn't in Voltz.
  18. There's lots of ways to power stuff. You can use TE Steam Engines, Combustion Engines, Magmatic Engines, and lots more. There's MFR too. IC2 was kinda boring. When you got down to it, there were only 2 viable endgame power sources: Reactors and Solar Arrays. Solar Arrays were OP and weren't hard to make, just tedious. Reactors were fun, though. But TE and BC2 feels more "Minecraft-y" to me. It just suits Minecraft better. Slightly less mathematics in favor of more practical stuff.
  19. Bio Fuel is pretty good. Still haven't figured out how to have one Bio Reactor output to multiple BioFuel Producers, though. Also, they could use some more item acceptance. All they accept currently is saplings and seeds. No sugar cane, no leaves. So to get max efficiency, you'll need 4 different types of saplings and seeds. And once Greg's Lighting is in, I think we'll have another alternative for RP2 lighting. One thing I do miss about IC2 though, is the little things like being able to make snow, ice and dirt yourself.
  20. At least removing them is way easier than dealing with Taint. Taint in TC2 basically meant "Retreat into a Mystcraft world or at least 500 blocks away, and research Concentrated Evil".
  21. Not exactly. If you're a bit clever, you don't need a parachute. You land on the moon with a lander anyway. As long as your launch pad on Kerbin Earth is above water, coming back to Earth will make you land in water as well.
  22. Ah, I see. A bit more work for a higher efficiency. I'm pretty sure Mars isn't in yet. Only Earth, Space Stations and the Mun Moon. Which, by the way, is already bloody magnificent. Just saying. Galacticraft is one of my favourite mods now.
  23. So what's the difference between the TE Steam Engine and the BC Stirling Engine?
  24. IMO Thermal Expansion and Buildcraft fits the theme of Minecraft better than IC2 does. He was using the RailCraft Steam Engines. BC's Steam engines are now called Stirling Engines IIRC.
  25. Can you post a screenshot?
